@ThirdsLynch4 жыл бұрын
I’m still convinced that I haven’t heard “Mornin rain” done correctly. I hear so many different versions I don’t know which one is the correct one. I remember it vaguely from years ago but now-a-days, I don’t know which is the right way!!
@christopherscaletta3 жыл бұрын
I've used this cadence for years. 10 to be exact. heard it in Leonardwood in 2011 under DS Sparks in trans. I also frequently use The Army Colors, Count the Cadence, When I get to Heaven, Airborne Rangers (lead the way) and Rock Steady all intertwined to create an unbreakable Cadence with no breaks. Hurts the voice when yelling loudly but motivation keeps me going.

This is the lamest cadence calling I have ever heard . Is this kindergarten or the US Army ? Do all the boys and girl have high heels on - including the drill sergeant ? The drill sergeant is nicer than a kindergarten teacher - isn't he - or she or whatever it is ? Half the time the cadence started BEFORE the left foot planted . In 1975 at Fort Jackson, when ANYONE messed up - EVERYONE had to drop to the front leaning rest position and do 10 4 count push ups while the drill sergeant was screaming at the person who messed up so everyone would know who it was . I NEVER heard a drill sergeant miss a beat and he ALWAYS started the cadence call EXACTLY on the plant of the left foot . The drill sergeants back then were perfectionist and they required perfection from everyone else .

What grinds my gears is how people still dont know how to stay in step. It's the easiest thing especially when he is saying left, right, etc... And when he is calling cadence you should be stepping on your left foot as the first word comes out of his mouth. Anybody about to go through basic please read this and understand it...
