They need water stations. Koala hotels, a safe place they can rest and drink and snack on Apples. The least they can do since their habitat was replaced with streets, humans and houses.

In normal conditions they don't drink. Without trees where could they get food? without trees where could they go to avoid predators? Think it through before you comment.

@SCL1116 жыл бұрын
Yona Avraham This usually only happens in hot summer months. Aussie summer can be very hot and the plants that koala eat have less water content due to the heat, so koala will approach hoomans for water. That’s is when people start filming so internet is full of thirsty koala.
@c8Lorraine15 жыл бұрын
A healthy koala doesn’t drink water. They get all their moisture requirements from eating gum leaves. Wildlife conservation tell us to bring a thirsty koala to their hospital because he has bigger problems than thirst.

There’s a man in Africa who spends his money on large trucks full of water. He drives them out to the wild animals everyday. The buffalo, elephants, lions and etc wait everyday for him to show up with water. How come Australia can’t do something like this?? Start setting up watering holes for all the animals in that area. Doesn’t take the government, just people, clearly the people in charge are too busy taking vacations, to care for these beautiful animals.

I've watched about a billion koala's drinking water vids the last two days. Are they always so easy going around people or was/is it natural disasters and/or loss of habitat causing them to be less leery of people?

00:17 There's your classic drop bear move right there. Usually, this move is executed from much higher up and onto the back of its unsuspecting prey but this one is still just a baby. They usually don't drink water since they usually get enough fluid when they feast on the blood of their victims.

My sentiments exactly TinaT. That's exactly what I just posted on the last clip I watched of an Australian giving a koala a drink. They need to provide watering stations for these animals and also feeding stations since they've destroyed this animals habitat and taken it for themselves. It is the very least they can do. It's bizarre to me how they are always posting these clips with the attitude that they are helping this animal. The only reason this animal us in any kind of NEED is because you took its sustenance away by chopping down all of the trees that it used to use for both food and habitat. You Aussies need to do the right thing.
@neddyladdy5 жыл бұрын
How in hell would you feed a koala without suitable trees. Where would they sleep? Where could they go to avoid predators ? You've not really thought this through have you ?
@donnakoval47695 жыл бұрын
@@neddyladdy indeed I have not and i should not need to. That is the responsibility of the humans who have chopped down all of the trees to clear the way for homes to be built for humans to live in. When you take the habitat of an animal for yourself that animal is not then a PEST AND YOU ARE NOT DOING IT A FAVOR GIVING IT A DRINK EHEN THE ANIMAL NORMALLY DOESN'T EVEN NEED TO DRINK. WHEN YOU REMOVE THE CREATURES HABITAT IN ORDER TO CREATE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR YOYRSELVES THEN YOU INHERIT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MAKING CERTAIN THOSE ANIMALS DO NOT SUFFER AS A RESULT. THESE ANIMALS WOULD NOT SUFFER IF THAT WERE THE UNITED STATES, AUSTRALIA IS NOT A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY AND THERE'S RESLLY NO EXCUSE FOR THOSE ANIMALS NOT HAVING RESOURCES. YOU DON'T REALIZE IT I THINK,BUT YOU ALL POST VIDEOS OF KOALAS COMINGB DOWN FROM THE TREES TO BEG FOR WATER AND U GIVING IT TO THEM AS THOUGH YOYVE DONE SOME GREAT WEED AND SURE IT'S KIND HOWEVER HAD YOU NOT CLEARED OUT ALL OF THE TREES THEY USE FOR SUSTENANCE THEY WOULDN'T NEED TO SEEK OUT HUMANS FOR HELP. IF THAT WERE THE STATE'S WE WOULD TAKE IT UPON OURSEKVES TO CREATE WASTERING STATIONS FOR THOSE ANIMALS AND WE WOULD PLANT THE TREES THAT THEY EAT RATHER THAN KEEP CHOPPING THEM DOWN. ENOUGH ALREADY AUSTRALIA. STOP CLEARING OUT THEIR HABITAT BEFORE YOU CAUSE TJEM TO GO EXTINCT.
