I’m a proud OT7 with a strong JK bias. When I first became aware of BTS, I only knew V from hwarang...loved his low voice and was a fan of sweet nights and winter bear. I really thought he was the face and the main vocals of the group. Then when I got to know each one...I was so intrigued by the fact that the youngest in the group, JK , was the main vocals, was a lead dancer, sub rapper and was dubbed the golden maknae of the group. When I started to listen to his solos and his covers....I was hooked. I just love the timbre of his voice and how skilled he was in vocalization. I realized that although all the other three have parts in the song that add a lot of flourish...JK was the solid rock foundation of that vocal line. He usually carried the melody, or harmonizing and doing ad libs...his is that wonderful sound that permeates all through the BTS songs that allows the other vocalist to soar! I was also first caught by his smile and how cute he was. Then I discovered 190811 videos, fan cam, the abs flashes, dimple and pied piper...and can’t go back to looking at him as just a sweet little bunny. If you start watching their reality series or documentaries you will find that everyone seem to have a special relationship with JK. I believe it’s because he was so young when he joined that everyone felt they should take care of him in some ways. They are so proud of him, always ready to point to him as the best singer or the strongest or the most talented. He also adapts so well,to each of his Hyungs...he gets chaotic with Jin, clingy with jimin and hobi, more quiet and lazy with Yoongi, more intellectual with RM and a bit more competitive with V. He is so very attached to Army, that I worry about him at times. I’m glad he is venturing on being his own person, having the tattoos and the piercings. I can’t wait to hear his solo project. Lol...I see I have written a lot...I swear I can write a thesis on each one of them!

That Pied Piper JK fan cam was one of the first videos I saw when I was discovering BTS, and the exact moment I realized JK was my bias. Everything about that performance seemed like magic-the song, his whole look, his voice, the understated sultry vibe, the way he wanders around seemingly aimlessly and then suddenly starts doing THOSE dance moves. . . I thought, “Can someone like this actually exist?” 😳 I had never seen anything like it, and a year and a half and countless views later, it still gets me. Every time. I entirely agree with you about how JK doesn’t even have to be doing anything but just standing there and you can’t take your eyes off him. He’s got incredible stage presence and charisma and he is extremely alluring in a more understated way that I find especially attractive. He never looks like he’s trying too hard. He’s just naturally sexy, and seems like he’s just playing it the way he feels it. He doesn’t have to say “look at me!” He simply exists and I’m captivated. Don’t get me wrong, I love and appreciate all the members, but JK is undeniably special for me, and the more you get to know about him and who he is as person, the more you fall for him. 😌 Side note: the guy walks like a rockstar. Look out for it in future videos, and you’ll see what I mean. It’s hard to describe, but it’s this loose, cool, manly sort of walk. 🤩

I feel like you might enjoy BTS Grammy Nomination Night. It's just a little video of four of the members (Jungkook, V, Jimin and RM) reacting to their Grammy nomination, but it's absolutely adorable and shows how they interact with each other. And Jungkook is adorable in that one. And of course, there's always their non-music content like Run BTS, Bon Voyage or In the Soop that is full of Jungkook grinning from ear to ear and tons of shenanigans. And it's also really good to discover their personalities a little bit more. Jungkook, just like all of the members, is kind of a contradiction sometimes. He's a little shy, but mostly he's quiet because he lives in his head. He spaces out a lot and it's hilarious. Or he just starts doing random stuff in the background. He's really funny, but sometimes it gets overlooked, because he tends to say the funniest things in this tiny voice that gets drowned out sometimes 😂. He definitely is an introvert, but he's also a total adrenaline junkie, which I think is part of why he's so great on stage - performing is adrenaline too. Oh, and he loves working out, because he has no mercy on our souls. Lately he's just been going wild with his full sleeve tattoo, fake (or maybe not) piercings and unbuttoned shirts. Oh, and his thighs are legendary. The seams on his pant deserve a raise 😂.

My bias and bias wrecker in one video? I think your trying to end me 😭 Tae is my bias for many different reasons but Jk isn’t far behind at all. There was a point, maybe a month or two into being a fan that I considered having a double bias because jk kept coming for my neck lmao. Jk’s so endearing and adorable yet he can turn the charm on like a light switch lol. And Tae too. Sometimes he’ll just go from adorable to attack mode in 0.5 seconds and it gives me whiplash lol. They both have this way of not having to do a thing to get a reaction out of me. Jungkookie’s not as forward as Tae yet can still capture your attention regardless. And with Tae, there’s just something about him that just has me in awe even when he’s not trying. He’s one of those people where I look at him and constantly wonder what he’s thinking, or what he’s feeling. I feel like he’s so expressive yet can also be quite mysterious to me.

When I began this rabbit hole journey, I kept getting JK and V mixed up. I tried keeping track of hair color…bad idea. At that beginning stage of Army life, I relied on their smiles to tell them all apart, then fell in love with that sweet bunny smile. Dimple-Pied Piper is a guaranteed one-two KO, so is their Lotte family concert where they’re all (almost) completely in black. Their stylists for these two concerts deserve a huge raise/bonus. 💜

I guess I am almost half way through watching, and it’s just as funny and sweet as I thought 💜 I am all for giving proper respect to our men, I often spend ages typing comments about what awesome human beings they are, how they inspire me, how kind and caring they are, their integrity, how it’s not about them being pretty etc...But I am not dead! They are simply beautiful, and that includes their faces and bodies 🤷‍♂️ I am speaking from a straight girl’s perspective, and I do not find it disrespectful to find them mesmerizingly attractive (any of them) - I think it’s disrespectful to ignore their sexual appeal - they are men, not children, and they understand that they are appealing, and they frikking flirt!!! They know, they really do know exactly what they are doing - in spite of their angelic looks, they are not innocent!! It’s wrong to pretend that there is no allure there (I’m sure they would not want their efforts to be in vain) - and it’s harmless to admit they are sexy - I think it’s inappropriate for anyone to objectify them to the point where all they are is a body (except, JK does have incredible thighs...and I know that is objectifying him, but he wears those tight jeans, so I can’t help it - please shoot me) - and some can be really vulgar about such things, and I think that is just awkward and uncomfortable and not fit for public consumption...But anyway, it’s ok that you think they are sexy - I have no problem with it, and I don’t think BTS would be anything other than flattered and happy (can you imagine going to a lot of trouble taking care of yourself and dressing up etc, going on stage in sexy clothing (not vulgar clothing, in case anyone wants to actually shoot me), singing sensual songs and flirting with the audience and camera - and no one actually thinks you are hot?? That would be devastating to the ego of anyone - it’s our duty to assure them we find them to be very attractive men) 🤷‍♂️😂 That’s my two cents worth 🙈💜💜 And yes, JImin was the gorgeous leather clad legs that crossed the screen - it seems I can identify these men by their legs, how embarrassing😳😂

The original MV is quite aesthetically pleasing, the lyrics were rightly called out as misogynistic, the beat is excellent. Love the new intro :) Thoughts: Hobi can be SNEAKY and hit you with his hotness, watch out for him. Yes, definitely Baepsae (RM's thrusts are also no joke), but there are videos of Hobi flirting on and offstage (my personal favorite is "everybody gangsta until Hobi flirts back") -- He doesn't engage in quite as much fanservice as V and Jimin but he does engage sometimes. Y’know… took me months to forgive JK for that My Time performance. Like holy kamote, “I get it JK! You’re a grown man now. You didn’t have to declare war.” FR though: I love his performances and the effort he put in to them. It wasn’t until recently that we found out he choreographed the dance himself and styled his own look for My Time. Other ARMY say that the performances of My Time, especially when you pay attention to the lyrics and how the choreo and styling play out, speak of a lost childhood… and JK coping with the loss by challenging audiences with an “Is this what you wanted of me?” statement, what with his sultry look and dance.
