✧ So, I felt really shitty the past two weeks and first I wanted to use this song for Clay's and Hannah's friendship but then I thought about it again and I decided to put more characters in this video. Mostly, because they all struggle with something. And not only in the series, also in real life people are facing mental and physical illnesses, abuse and many other problems in their life and I think people either don't talk about it often enough or just don't realize it or maybe, they just ignore it. I wanted to make this video to show everyone who is struggling at the moment, or did in the past or will in the future, that they're not alone. No one is alone and it's not a shame to ask for help. Everyone needs help at some point in their life and it's okay to ask for it. I'll always be here if some of you actually read this and feel the need to talk, my dms are always open. I will listen and I will do my best and try to help you. I know what it's like to have so many problems and to be alone all the time and I would never wish that upon someone. If a single "hey, how are you?" or "hey, i'm here if you need me" is going to help someone to step back from that edge, then I'm willing to take my time and do whatever I can to help.

When I wanted to kill myself a few years back I remember listening to this song and it really stuck with me. To this day I think way too much about who cares about me or not and if I have someone. I literally have no one that cares about me but the thought of having someone on earth that I might meet in a few years "sending flares" is so calming. And even though there might never be that person this song gives me so much hope. And it really fits Hannahs story too, so well done! :)

It's really fascinating that the song speaks about having someone at your back even when you're thinking you're alone ... Hannah had Clay, her parents and tony but still decided to end things just to escape ... I'm just overwhelmed when I think about that.

Gorgeously done! I'm planning to make a 13 Reasons Why general cast vid too. There is so much powerful angst to vid on this series... And I'm glad you offered to people that your DMs are always open and that you care, that's important sometimes. There are way too many people who are really hurting or even suicidal at any given time watching KZbin vids and looking for some social connection to hang onto. God, it's so beautiful. You know, I actually think that every video with this song is totally amazing becuase it tells about the incredible story.
