I stumbled upon this edit a few days ago when my brain decided to have an unprompted Thasmin breakdown for the umpteenth time since Thirteen's last episode and hoooooly hell I am absolutely OBSESSED with it. I've basically been playing it on a loop ever since. It's SO GOOD. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. And that's coming from someone who was previously CONVINCED Cornelia Street could never be used in a fanvid in a satisfying way... Well, I have been proven wrong, and I am SO GLAD ABOUT IT. Brb, gonna play this on a loop a million more times now ! 🤩

Oh my god, I searched for this edit because if no one had done it yet, I was going to, but this is so much better than anything I could have done with this ship and song pairing, this is GORGEOUS Pls forgive the rambling I'm about to do, this song with them means so much to me: 1:01 - "Id rather not have met her, because having met her and then...being without her, thats worse" over this chorus????? Are you kidding me??? I swear someone in the writer's room had this song on repeat 1:20 - "I'm so terrified of if you ever walk away" with them saying "I won't disappear again" / "Yeah, you won't" - I'm laying myself in a casket rn 1:48 - "Sacred new beginnings became my religion " paried with the WWTDD on Yaz's hand was a stroke of absolute genius editing, I can't believe I never though of that to those lyrics 😭😭 1:55 - Using Graham's speech about Grace and wanting more than the years he got with her sent me into a spiral, I'm not sure I can ever forgive your for that 2:38 - the "I promise" parallel AHHHHHSHSKSKSKSKSKSKKK The bookends kf the edit with Yaz sensing the Doctor / Yaz walking out the door was actual cinema, oh my god If you get a sudden uptick in views on this edit, they are most likely all me, thank you so much for this masterpiece ♥️♥️♥️

I have never before noticed that when she leaves home in Arachnids, there's a tapestry of a mosque and crescent moon by the door.

This is amazing! One of the best Thasmin videos I've seen. Everything flows so well!
