Mal saying "I want to get [Tikka Masala] in England" - Most jars and home meal kits looked pretty much like what you had in this vlog. But from restaurants/takeaways they can vary entirely from looking similar to being almost florescent red and all having slightly different flavour profiles. One of my favourites when trying a new Indian for takeaway is just to grab a Tikka Masala just to see how different it is from the last haha Also congrats again on 13 dating years!

As a British Indian I get way too excited when you guys make tikka masala. I'd definitely recommend trying to make it yourself, it's actually super easy! The way I do it is by blending the vegetables (tomatoes, onions, peppers, ginger, garlic) with cashew nuts in a food processor to make the curry base and letting it cook a bit, as well as adding a bit of cream and spices (which I'm fortunate to have an unlimited supply of at home but you could just get some masala/curry powder.) Add in your marinated chicken/tofu/paneer and you can probably make it in 30-45 minutes. I also recommend getting some naan bread and using that to eat. Indian food just hits differently when you get your hands dirty and mix it with some nice fluffy buttered bread :)
