DOC 01 He basically just disappeared out of my life every time he got a girlfriend, but when he was in my life he would tell me that he loved me and we would FaceTime like over night and fall asleep on the phone and talk for hours and hours about absolutely nothing. I turned 18 in March and he was supposed to come to my birthday, but as his birthday is two days after mine he booked skydiving for the day of my party and didn’t come🤷🏼‍♀️ We’ve been friends for about 8 years and we’ve still never met. He was my absolute best friend and everything but the sad thing is, if you look at the last three texts I’ve sent him since March he’s just left me on read, like I’m not even worth his time. I know I shouldn’t but I miss him terribly, and I just like feeling close to him

HeyThereImDaisy Sounds like there was more than platonic feelings. One side could genuinely believe there’s a solid friendship, the other side is on another page entirely. It happens. I use to have a friend like that. We were friends since 5th grade. (We’re 23 now) I came out to her in high school because I felt comfortable to tell her. it shocked her because she thought i was straight. After we graduated, i started noticing her feelings were changing. She hated when i gushed about guys. She hated when i started becoming involved with guys. (Never put her after a guy, she was always my confidant. Ovaries before brovaries) The moment she found a “replacement” for me that’s when the connection faded. My advice: find a lesson in the friendship. Take something from the entire experience.

I remember when I first beat Dragon Age Origins, it was late at night and I was extremely tired, because I had spent the past several hours trying to finish the game. When this song started playing in the end credits, I thought I was tripping balls. For a hot minute I thought my computer had glitched out and started playing a song from my stash of edgy teenager MP3's. I looked it up to make sure I wasn't going absolutely bonkers.
