Thirty-six views of Mt Fuji - Katsushika Hokusai

This video contains all thirty-six, plus the additional ten prints from the series thirty-six views of Mt Fuji.
Hokusai, a master ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period, created these works between 1830 and 1832. Through these prints, he not only captured the majestic beauty of Mount Fuji but also reflected the daily life and culture of Japan during that era.

Thank you ever so much for this smashing video. The man's use of colour and composition was dazzling and yet deceptively simple. I liked the lingering over each image unlike many collections which wizz through the images too fast....How about more of Hokusai perhaps his portraits which you showed in the beginning.
