I don't remember noticing this the first time I watched it, but why is Hope worrying about not having a quiet weekend? Thanksgiving is on a Thursday, and the following weekend is quiet and there are leftovers to eat. My folks and I were lucky--most of the fam on both sides of the fam lived in town and we didn't have to travel out of town--we just drove across town for lunch and then for supper and I helped my mom fix stuff, and other fam brought stuff.

I always liked this show EXCEPT for Ellen’s vocal fry

@@lizadivine3785 ngl I think her voice is just raspy; vocal fry typically requires a range where the voice starts higher then drops and trails off at the end of the sentence.
