Dear Viewers,
Thiruppavai is a divine song which is composed by AANDAAL, and it has 30 long verses. Each verse has 8 lines totaling 240 lines in all. Both kids were learning this song from Smt. Sunita , their learning from Smt. Sunita got stopped abruptly due to some unavoidable circumstances at verse No.16. Hence, as a mother, i was worried about its completion, but by God's grace my kids gave me the confidence that they can learn the entire Thiruppavai by using PRAPATTI.com if i downloaded the MP3 for them, so i finally resorted to that and they finished 1 verse of 8 lines in 40 minutes each day.
The world laughs and mocks at our divisions and is unable to see the unity that is throbbing in all our hearts. my husband is an IYER, i am a sindhi by birth, these kids love God in all His forms, AAKAARA and NIRAAKAARA, also respect all religions that advocate LOVE OF GOD. When my little one Abhidheya wanted to chant the Thirupallaandu at a local andal temple during the row over the derogatory statement passed by Vairamuttu about ANDAL, we somehow got hold of the mike inside the temple while the press was surrounding the politician outside the temple trying to give poses for a photo-shoot and people were seated inside the temple for the temple arathi to begin. But nothing can begin unless the politician is done with his agenda , s meanwhile my daughter started to sing the Thirupallaandu and it hardly takes 5 minutes to complete it but the trustees ( all elderly men with huge THIRUMANAM /SHRICHARANAM tilak , vadagalai or tengalai , i have no clue why they even fight over these things ), so these priests just snatched the mike from my girl and asked her to step out. But the audience seated was listening to the song with pleasure, they wanted more of it but these trustees are such crooks who wait for politicians green signal for arathi to begin, but cannot wait a minute more for a girl to finish her pallandu song. Then i requested them to allow her to chant it on another day, but they just would not give her a date or time. HYPOCRITES all of them. These people criticize the youth for being arrogant and disobedient and not being religious enough. But these are the same people who will shun a child just bcoz she is not an IYENGAR by birth.
Most Alwars themselves were not even Brahmin by birth, when God has no issues with a washerman expressing his devotion to the Lord, who are these goons to separate man from God just based on birth differences ??? Shame on them all.
Because of such irreligious old men, today our youth has lost faith in our culture and our kids are so confused.
This is the reason we as parents decided to home-school our kids and let then see this world through a clear glass.
we have personally experienced all this in every single high profile temple and as well as other temple whose trustees are politicians.
DIVISION is their only goal, not UNITY, bcoz unity brings faith and their core agenda is to somehow strip us all of the innate faith we all have in the Lord and His Divinity.
Same thing was done with Christians and Muslims.
