How does it work with the loose copy vs sealed? Were they given out separately?

Loose copy = leaked aka not approved by Konami. Sealed copy means has the black acrylic that it came with. The cards might not be literally sealed in the case but it implies that this is the authentic original copy given to the winners in 2001. Thanks for viewing the videos.

Great video but elf is 4th place. I had the chance of seeing the original card and trophy (4th). Angry kuriboh is 3rd place. Summoned skull 2nd. 1st place adult is blue eyes ultimate. Red eyes was given to winner of the junior kids division.

I always love how games like capsule monsters and Sacred cards gave us those artworks digitally. As a little kid back then it created a mystique to them. Like they could’ve just been totally made up - and a lot of cards in those old video games were ( rituals for serpent night dragon etc) - so when you finally discover that they were actually real artworks, it’s pretty crazy

It think the t3 summoned skull art gives it more of the feel of lord of the pit from mtg, which IMO i think summoned skull was probably based on.

Do you have any plans of releasing a video in regards to my favorite card in my collection: The Creator God of Light, Horakhty? I believe it is one of the holy grails for us collectors, especially since it is a promotional card that is limited to 10,000 copies in print, OCG-exclusive, was released only in Japan and has never been reprinted. Besides DDS/SDK artwork, for me this is the best artwork ever made related to the Blue-Eyes. However I agree that the regular Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon artwork is a bit average. I think the Dragon Master Knight full artwork (not the cropped artwork used on the cards) would have been ridiculously better

Loose copies are legit however they are not in a case and weren't given out as prize cards in this tournament, they were leaked directly from the factory or through other sources at some point

I definitely value these cards over the world championship cards. They feature unique artworks of iconic yugioh cards rather than a random one off card that hardly anyone other than some collectors would even recognize its name as a yugioh card and that puts it in a whole other league in my book. The fact that they are in japanese rather than english makes them even better in my opinion since japanese is the yugioh card game's original language (not to mention the censorship english cards have, not just in artwork but in names as well. Ex: Summoned Skull is a censored translation of Summoned Demon).

Not counting the OG stainless vanilla prize cards, these 5 cards along with Ulevo are easily the most prestigious cards in the history of the game to me. To me they are worth more than money conceptually. I don't think anyone who did not earn these cards through tournament victory should feel comfortable owning it. Except by inheritance or something 🤔

I've known about these for ages and always wished they'd get an artwork reprint. Some people say that they won't because of artwork rights/licensing but the Gemini Elf art at least has appeared in a recent Yugioh videogame so Konami must be allowed to use them.
