I have it and it is going to RMA because of a bad charging port. The i7-12650h on this laptop runs extremely hot and it is locked down so you can not undervolt. Gaming on Battery has about an hour of life. Otherwise it does play games well GPU has extra heat pipe and doesn't overheat like the CPU. Cooling pads doesn't help CPU temperature.

@@retuard6892 depends, if you're going to play at 2k resolution, or put everything in epic then u may need an rtx 4060, otherwise, if u play in high settings 1080p, which is more than enough, then an rtx 4050 is enough and so it becomes cpu bounded

Did you have capped frames on cs2 low settings test? The cpu is running on 35% and gpu on 65%, so i belive it could actually get more frames. Maybe its RAM? What do you think, let me know please :)

its because cpu is weaker than gpu. if this setup had better cpu there would be higher fps because cs2 is cpu bound game.

Remember you can't update the processor or VRam chips. So, it's what's in the underneath and how you like the screen personal choice. Go and look at them somewhere. And how they sound bassy or not or you use headphones 100% of the time.

TUF has great features, downside is bad wifi chip, you'd have to buy a intel one. Locked to max 32gb ram, if you want 64gb RAM. Two slots for SSD. This one has two SSD slots + 1 SATA bay for another sata SSD and max ram 64gb.

How are you getting temps like that, mine is brand new and processor temps are 95-105 degrees celsius? Can you show your power plan options, could my cooling system be defective, im not even reaching 4Ghz and getting such temps (exact same laptop except 16gb ram on single channel) and my performance is waay way lower on cs i casually drop under 144 fps bcs of thermal throttle Also my battery life is awful 1 hour of youtube and the battery is dead

I think battery is awful in general But i get 130-140 when idling and I usually play Fortnite and get 185-195 idk if that’s normal tho I do have a cheap cooling pad for it. I’ve had mine for 7 months now and I don’t have any Complaints its just a good gaming laptop

I am using same model the only problems are colors are not bright in dark theme game and when you use it at performance mod its fan sound like jet but you can avoid it by not using PR mod and about the FPS you get 100 to 120. Fps on almost in all the AAA games and pls dont use ultra or extreme setting on games which come out in 2024 and if from mid of 2023 it just heat your laptop you are not getting ultra settings feel because of color brightness limits
