Those buildings are random test only think that is set is the mountain ranges so when doing videos it would be best to show the mountain ranges when first landing then show direction to the best outpost location

This game should have wholesalers, rich in credits, where you can sell large quantities of resources (and only resources) all at once. The mechanics of this type of transaction should also allow for direct transfer of the cargo from your ship to the wholesaler. Having to manually haul around a few tons to materials to half a dozen different shops to sell them or flying to Venus to wait for vendors to restock credits is not at all immersive if you are trying to play as a trader. Access to the wholesalers could be conditioned on the completion of a questline and/or having a cargo ship with a sufficiently large capacity which allows it to be licensed for bulk cargos.

The game should let you link your cargo links directly to spaceports that have cargo links to passively sell stuff to trade authority.

The building are random but the terrain is based off the specific landing spot's seed value so you ought to have shown the surface map so people know if they got the seed right or not Found a better location around the southern pole with these and argon, still looking to see if I can get that sweet neon too

Procyon III. Ionic Liquids, Tetraflouride, Copper, Flourine, water, and a craaaaaapppton of critters and plants to farm. I actually found this planet a few nights ago by myself and can attest. It's a VERY nice thing to get going!!

@@MyUsualMe Also, just moments ago I created an outpost on Charybdis II that can produce Water, Aluminum, Beryllium, Neodymium, Europium, Cosmetic, Fiber, Nutrient, Ornamental, Sealant, Structural, Toxin, Adhesive, Amino Acids, Membrane, and Pigment. That's 16 resources all at one outpost. If I search a while I might be able to find a location that can do more, because the planet also has Argon, Chlorine, and Chlorosilanes available. I'm going to search for a spot where I can get all 19 in one outpost.

To stop lag on my system I have more outpost just outside of the main that I use for transferring resources. It allows me to have room and can add more storage area in each transfer outpost. If really needed I can just run or use my pack to get to the transfer locations to acquire what I need.

It is cool that you can do all that, but I am struggling with why farm at all? Especially if you lose everything you built when you level to the next plus game.

Because you can? Eventually you may want to just do it. Also, if you want to daisy chain together basic items to another base you can make more advanced materials in bulk.

This is a good question and one that I'm coming across. Basically, you'll likely end up at a point where it's better to put in the time early and get the resources as interest later on. Whether that helps you rush your next NG+ or if you want to settle down and take your time, it'll probably benefit you no matter which case fits.

You can get the G oil, from looting them in the water below Neon. Also were to survey the two fauna there. I think I had five of them to loot.

After watching so many multiple resources in one outpost video, i strongly opine that outpost limit is extremely RIDICULOUS! Instead increase outpost limit and environment building, it should have unlock specialised building options instead for different enviroment, just remove the outpost limit!

If want to make it more immersive, we just need to purchase outpost license to place beacon and pay fees like kid stuff traits. So, I'm waiting for a proper patch or stable mod, whichever come first.

The outpost limit is stupid and leads to numerous headaches as you need to uproot and disband bases periodically to make way for better more efficient locations, and spend literal hours just running in straight lines *per base* to find optimum locations to get 5-6 minable resources. It would have been a fun experience if we could just put bases down on 2-3 resource locations, but if you do that you can only cover about half of them as ~1/3 of your bases are wasted on HE3 outposts to move stuff between systems, and those bases typically can only have 1-2 other resources.

Easy Farm: Craft Amp in Jemison - Alpha Centauri System Prereq: Botany level 1 Steps: - Scan the snow plant for Metabolic Agent, - Scan the Toxin plant - Build an Outpost with Argon and Water (I have mine in the north snow area) - Build Greenhouse for Metabolic Agent - Build Greenhouse for Toxin (Be sure to select the toxin in the greenhouse) - Build Extractors for Argon and connect to gas storage - Build Extractors for Water and connect to liquid storage - Connect Water storages to Greenhouses and then storage boxes - Be sure to have solar or wind power For Amp you need: 2x Argon 1x Toxin 1x Metabolic Agent

I may have missed this but when you land and before you place your outpost beacon what resources do you see? and do you have updated planet scanner. I dont get the same resources showing in that spot. Thanks.

It's because your scanner isn't high enough level. I put out another resource video for that exact reason. That planet is just thick with those resources. I don't think it matters much where you land. You should be good. Try it.

I've spent 130 hours in the game and still wondering what is the gameplay necessity of outposts? I mean for example in Empyrion you build an outpost because there is no any other option to playthrough. But here I can have anything I need without an outpost. What's the point? Really

The point is to have all the resources you want on hand at all times without having to jump to a dozen traders trying to find the item you need. This list is for beginners that would like to find an item(s) they want or need and be able to farm it without having to go treasure hunting. But everyone is different, so there you go!

Honestly there is no (or very little) point as the only reason you'd need mass amounts of resources is to build a large base. The only time you need a large amount of chems to is *surprise* boost run speed to scout base locations. You pick up Amp as frequently as digipicks so for normal gameplay you can always be amped up if you want. Now, if resources were used to build spaceships at bases (instead of needing credits) bases would make a lot more sense, it's mindboggling this wasn't an option

You don't need so many storage boxes. For 5 extractors put 10 storage boxes and wait 6h. This is the most effective procedure to maximize everything in the outpost.

The time difference on this planet is less than the UT norm so I have more boxes to collect as I'm out and about. That way when I'm ready to mass produce I have enough to make it worth my while.

Exact resource placement isn't and has been proven by the finding of the iron/aluminum/cobalt/nickel base that another YT'er has shown that I use all the time. The locations CAN be found time and time again.

I also don't collect all the junk in this game. I just raid outposts and shoot things. I have all the God roll guns. One of the best C class ships if not the best. I don't even craft anything. I'm going to NG+ soon. Maybe I'll do some crafting and a outpost...maybe!!!

I mean why do any of that either? Half the game is cookie cutter bases and caves etc. just sounds like you played half the game and ignored the other half. Why do it? Cuz I can. Cuz it's something to do. Cuz I can do it better than you. Cuz I want to. Cuz I like to hoard and hustle and build. Why do mfkrrs play Minecraft (I play lol) or Sims. Bruh chill out. Or better yet. Build an outpost and see if you are any good at it. Everybody has good credits and guns and suits etc and plays the missions and shoot things. Not everybody is building. I'm building. I actually enjoy it more than the rest of the game. It's there for people who want to take that route. If you don't you don't have to. The game lets you choose your path and my path involves outposts across the universe and becoming the next ryujin.
