If I remember correctly, Bruce used to finish elite 1 and top 100 quite consistently, scoring only acrobatic goals from crosses. He refused to exploit the game mechanics, and would often go ultra offensive, just to avoid his team dropping back too much. A true legend

I matched this guy today (17/11/20) in a friendly and the game was so bad and after missing some very easy chances I decided to quit when he went 3-0 up.. And guess who I matched in the very next game, it was the same guy.. I was going to quit because I'm thinking his connection again I'll definitely lose and he'll think he's got my ticket, but I said no I'm going to play and show this dude his win was a fluke.. He didn't quit but I won the game comfortably, can't recall him taking 2 decent shots on target.. So it goes to show that in this game there is some random thing with the connection that only EA can truly explain and of course results are determined by connection.

I couldn’t agree more this is the fundamental issue with Fifa when you play champs there’s so many opponents who play the game to abuse mechanics rather than actually playing football. I like to build up play and breakdown a defence I lose games because of it but when I win I enjoy it even more. I ended on 20 wins last week so can’t be that bad.

@Rybo Stain you actually can play decent football, even those skills can be defended just dont bite.. he can do you once, maybe twice but after that you should be able to read that someone is spamming certain skills/mechanics in the game and you just have to wait and react instead of trying to guess what hes doing. If someones coming straight at you just jockey backwards and there watch and there is always an opening where the ball is loose there is where you tackle. Dont just dive in.

What’s the point in playing like this spamming stepovers whole game? Really? What has this game come down to man.. where is the logic? Someone who will play a 433 with 1 cdm on stay back and his fullback on balanced or join attack like almost EVERY TEAM does in real life will get punished in no time. For me the fifa love is over, when i was a 18/19year old boy i was soooo excited for fifa and ultimate team to build a team with high passing didn’t care about pace. The Stepovers are to help keep balance while dribbling. Normal Left stick dribbling is very weak this year. Stepovers allow you player to stay on angles you want and the left stick dribbling would usually put you on ones you don't
