Good memories 33 years ago pushing back after riding out of gas till your blue in the face and taken rides in old pickup with old man to 711 to get gas and him learning me some math with mix ratios.

I had a 72 JT60 just like this one when I was 11. It was my cousin's bike and they had outgrown it. I was going to get a new Honda but my folks got a deal on the used JT60 instead. I was a little sore about it, but I fell in love with the JT60. I rode it for a few years. My brother put a little too much weight on the kick starter and stripped it. The local Yamaha dealer said it would cost more than the bike was worth to fix it. After another year or two of popping the clutch, I ended up selling it to a friend for $40. I would gladly buy it back now. I would even pay $40 for it. 🤣🤣

Very first bike I rode in 1996 was an old 70s or 60s maybe I don’t remember but it was a Yamaha mx80 with a black tank, I remember we did the piston rings, than the floats stuck and it took off into my neighbors car!
