Personal luxury cars of 2023 have frankly become boring in terms of design. There is a predictability to how Mercedes-Benz makes its sedans and SUVs; the same goes for beaver-grilled BMWs. But things were a lot more lively back in the 1960s, especially in America. The likes of the Ford T-Bird and Pontiac Grand Prix had raised the bar higher than ever among personal luxury cars.
