I have the older first model ETR, I loved this camera, but since I got an Hasselblad 500C I rarely use it, I still keep it for sentimental reasons, but even if I don't use it now I can say for it's price it's a very good camera. I only dislike a couple of things. The camera needs a battery, if it's dead the camera can shoot only at 1/500th and in a lot of cases it's pretty much useless. The prism finder it drains the battery if you forget to turn it off. So, considering what I said, that without battery you can shoot only at 1/500th it can be a big problem. But other than that, it's a pretty nice camera.

Hello there my friend... Thanks for watching my video....it is nice to have you here. I agree with you, I'm not a big fan of film cameras that need battery too, but as you know the Etrs is an amazing budget option for the Hasselblad... You are so lucky to have one 😎😊

@@ArmandoStreets I bought my Hasselblad 500C in 2021, it was a very lucky find, a 1969 Hasselblad with a film back, 80mm with a metal lens hood, the original strap, original leather bag, some filter, plus the original tripod mount, everything pretty much in mint condition at a very fair price, I bought it immediately 😀

Bronicas are great cameras. I have been shooting the much older fully mechanical Bronica S2A for a few years now. Although that one is 6x6 so I only get 10 shots per roll, my Pentax 645 gives me 16 shots so it gets more use.

I used one for weddings many years ago, the main problem that I had was with the cable release for the shutter not working & stripping the cable release.

Cool.... Yes I think this a great camera for portraits, which makes it a great choice for weddings 😎👌🏾

Hi Armando, the ETR's are great cameras. You can also activate the AEII prism meter by pressing the AEII button on the front of it, reduces the risk of an accidental shot if using the shutter button. However the AEII button method works with the dark-slide in and the shutter button locked so make sure the AEII is switched off when the camera is not in use to avoid the button getting depressed and draining the battery.

@@ArmandoStreets Forgot to mention, remember to change the ASA/ISO on the AEII when swapping backs loaded with different speed films.
