This is sad. Clickbait title leading to a "review" which is clearly a Sponsored Showcase. Nothing more than marketing sprinkled with some specs. Mislabeling and even stating in the description - not sponsored - is a move that I would not have excepted from Coreteks. Dumping on other creators is easy, but showing this bad practise is a hard decline for me... I hope to see some clarification and a proper excuse upcoming.

Dude what indicates to you that Coreteks was ever trustworthy to begin with? Was it his 6 years of consistently WRONG takes. Or how bout how every single prediction about CPU performance and releases has also been WRONG as he pulls everything out of his ass. Hows about how he got called out by Moore's Law is Dead for being wrong and how Coreteks banned and removed comments from his videos for months criticizing him. He would even chimp out in the comments against different people calling him out. Dude is a man child embarssment

The main conflict of interest for coreteks is he earns commission from people who buys it through his links and code. I don't think he has directly gotten money to make this video like an actual sponsored video would be. It can be difficult to say anything negative without huge experience with various other projectors at various other price points. Like this cheaper projector does all these things so if you don't want all the other things this one brings or too expensive then the other is an option or something along those lines.

I purchased a 3500 pro about a month a and all I can say is 🤯 After almost a month of owning it there are still moments where I catch myself dropping my jaw at the crispness and clarity and the brightness...... No exaggeration there are times when the screen is SO bright that I literally have to turn my head away from the screen or shield my eyes, it is truly mind blowing. And video games...... 🤯🤯🤯🤯 It's like literally being in the game it's truly awe inspiring. The only bad thing I have to say about my awol 3500 pro is that the customer service is seriously lacking bordering on frustrating but as far as the actual equipment goes on a 1-10 I give it a 15 👍👍

Definitely most people aren't buying this. But it doesn't mean it's pointless to showcase. It might be £6k now. Give it 5 years and this level of projector will be £2k Five more and you might be able to get something like this for £700 To me this is an interesting look at what the future of projectors will offer, not actually something to buy today.

native 4k got me excited, but after checking specs it's indeed 1080 that shifts 4 times to achieve 4k. There are many ust projectors like samsung, lg and hisense that deliver 2k resolution shifted twice to achieve 4K and cost less than $6K

I have the BenQ x3000i and its great. It's under $2000 and has most of the same features, but is not short throw and is LED based. Although it can actually go up to 240hz in 1080 mode. And I can easily use it in daylight, it's got 3000 lumens, 4k, HDR, HDMI 2.1, and low latency. I'd highly recommend
@xephyrxero
@xephyrxero 7 ай бұрын
The biggest flaw it has is no VRR support. I'll be looking for that in my next projector. As well as proper 4k@120±. Triple laser, short throws are intriguing to me too, but the unique 4 LED system does a pretty good job. It has wide color gamut support with 75% rec.2020 coverage, but is dramatically darker in this mode. My next will come closer to 100% of rec.2020, and be 3000+ lumens in that mode. Maybe it will be the next Vava, they're already there except for the gaming features🤞

Hisense u8k has a 100 inch panel for 3k. Should be 4k 120hz like the rest of line up. Half price. Most people don't have room for a larger TV. My space already is taken up by my 85 inch qn90a. Especially for gamers, makes zero sense pushing a projector when there are 100 inch tvs where hisense has specifically worked on gaming features.

The DLP chip will start the have dead pixels 10k-12k hours(if ur lucky). But when you consider 100 inch QLED for 4k-5k. That the best play and no Fan noise or heat to worry about. No screen to buy just mount the TV and ur done.
@scotshanley
@scotshanley 7 ай бұрын
I own the 3500 and there is literally no fan noise thst u can detect sitting right next to the projector. Even when the projector goes into ambient mode or rest mode and is projecting video or pictures with no sound I literally cannot hear any fan noise zero. Heat wise it feels room temperature to the touch when running and it weighs like 20 pounds and can throw a 150" 4k picture. Coming from a 65" oled I seriously do not regret my purchase and I don't think I'm ever going back to owning an actual TV. Just my personal opinion for what it's worth.

In your video description, you state that "This is not a sponsored video". Do you stand by that statement? You also state, that for accurate prices, "links above should be used" to asses region accurate prices and promotions. What kind of promotions? Are those promotions tied to your channel? Or to the manufacturer? Curiously when I click the link, I see this: "AMD&Coreteks&AWOLVision". Is this not an affiliate link? Are you or are you not affiliated with this company? Does that not mean, that any purchases made trough that link yoiu provided allow for revenue split between your channel and AWOL Vision? Do you understand what sponsor even is? Whats curious is when you go to other people reviewing this Projector, they provide similiar affiliate links with added explanation, that these links may " generate revenue to the channel". Is that not the case with your deal with AWOL? If not, how so? If yes, why do you feel like you don't need to inform your audience on this? This is clearly sponsored video, you are a caricature of a tech enthusiast. On one hand blaming Nvidia for anti-competitive practices and on the other, exploiting your own audience.

Love his videos? he has been wrong about every single take for like 6 years. He hasn't made a good prediction once. Literally every single take he makes is invalidated by a little research from more reputable people like Moores Law is Dead. Btw Moore's disagreed with Coreteks on one thing one time because Coreteks was talking out of his ass and he got all uppity and started deleting comments that would mention Moore's law and would have weird arguments with people in the comments because of his bruised ego. This dude is a loser who makes ReviewTech look like a cool human being that doesn't live with his parents.

Pretty sure the hisense u8k 100 inch still has 4k 120hz gaming. And 1080p 240hz(not sure about this tech, but you'll see it more next year on monitors, half resolution double frame rate option.) 3k. So to gamers this makes literally no sense given the myriad of other options. I'm going oled personally
