We hung with Deni to see what the hype is all about. He lived up to it.
Deni's only 19 years old but he plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv, one of the top teams in the second best league in the world (Euroleague). He's been playing against pros and other ex-NBA guys for YEARS!
Last summer, Deni led the Israeli national team to a championship in the FIBA U20 tournament in Israel. Everyone saw how he was a great floor general and a true winner. After that, he shot up NBA draft boards. Now, he's a projected top 10 pick, maybe even top 5.

He has great potential, I think he is going to be a player like Giannis, not in the terms of good as Giannis, but in terms of a player that would need a lot of time and work and you'll start seeing him getting better with time, he is not Luka or Tray with an instant impact, he'll need the patience. He is a great passer and a good defensive player, good attitude, he wants the ball but also knows his place in the team, he needs to work on physicality and his shooting but with the right team he'll get there because he has the right attitude, he just needs a team that plays as a team like Dallas or Spurs or Suns where he'll feel more like home
