Wow!!! Way to high up for me. I live on the 9th floor now and it’s to high for me. $6300 for that condo, I don’t care how many amenities it has. I guess I’m cheap. I pay $465 for my 2/2, has laundry room, kitchen and common room with dining tables, library. Yes no exercise equipment or movie room or roof top deck but we have a grill outside on the ground floor. We are all seniors.

Hi, the place is amazing but my concern is the hotel downstairs. I lived in a high rise that did the same thing but hotel guests were allowed to use the amenities and travel to my floor. It was a loud, hot mess because people and kids would be so loud and I could never use the gym or have peace on the roof top deck. I would be woken up at 3 am because of the party people. I lasted 8 months and got out of my lease. I hope this place isn't like that.🤔

Thank you for your observations! Good to know and warrants a couple visits back at different times to check. Also ask the rental agents what hotel guests are allowed to do and see if you can add into the rental agreement if you can't use amenities or are kept awake that cancels the agreement.

@PNWJMc3 жыл бұрын
That is a good point. Any time I have seen something like this advertised they tend to hype that you have full access to the hotel amenities. Some even will allow you to have room service and house keeping. All in the phrasing I guess. You don't realize that yes you get all those amenities but you're also sharing them with potentially hundreds of hotel guests. I would also hope that the hotel guests would not have access to the residential portion of the building. Definitely something that would need investigation before signing that lease.

Hello Cash, When you do videos of these mid (above a few stories) and high rise apartments PLEASE include a tour of the electrical, heating ventilating & air conditioning (HVAC) and mechanical rooms, and a mention of any concierge services available in the buildings. These buildings REQUIRE electricity 24/7/365 to operate all the systems. All the amenities are very nice but they mean NOTHING if the building electrical, HVAC, mechanical, communications, and security systems are in marginal or poor shape. The NYC water pressure can only get the water up a few stories -- any higher and the building must have electrical pumps and storage tanks to hold the pressurized water, and that includes water for fire sprinklers and for flushing toilets. To get to this apartment and many others, unless you are willing to walk up all those stairs, you need to take the (electrically powered) elevator. When you move your belongings into the apartment, you will also need the elevator. If the elevator is in marginal or poor condition, you are screwed. At 44 stories up, the apartment windows will not open -- so the apartment heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system is connected to the buildings (electrically powered) HVAC systems. If those go down, the occupant of this 44th floor apartment should not use the gas range -- when the burners are on and the building exhaust air system is off, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide are released into a closed room. To ensure usability, mid to high rise buildings (especially in NYC) are supposed to have emergency generators to run all the systems if there is a blackout. It would be smart to show those generators, diesel fuel tanks (for run times at near full load during a blackout) and the building systems (including the communication system to the building security and superintendent) in the video to prove that they exist and they work. If a concierge service is in the building, a mention of what services are available and their prices would be nice. The key is in high rise buildings such as the one you showed, the rent includes the fractional price of all those "unseen" systems which are needed to live there. It would be nice to see them in excellent condition.
