Fried Chicken!!!! Love it. The Guy On The Drums is Roger Taylor. He & Brian May are still performing as Queen with Adam Lambert. Roger Taylor is a great singer too. When you hear those high falsettos in the songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, that’s usually Roger. Roger has a new solo album coming out.

A song about Martin Luther King….once again proving Queen was ahead of the times! The documentary showing them writing this song is SO great (available on KZbin) and also the live performance at Wembley, 1986, also outstanding. This is one of my favorite Queen songs. I have a lot of favs but this one ranks high. 💗

Queen has a video of the making of "One Vision." It is all about the creative in-studio process they used, and it is fascinating! You really need to watch it, even if it is not for one of your videos!
@sandrabutler84833 жыл бұрын
There is an extended version of around 20 minutes it shows how Roger Taylor on drums came up with the song, and how they changed some of the words too fit with how Freddie would be able too sing it, they all wrote different songs, they all play different instruments, all sing and three of them had solo albums while still in Queen, John Deacon on Bass preferred being in the background, even though he wrote some of the hits by Queen
@susieq98013 жыл бұрын
John wrote several of their biggest hits like "Another one Bites the Dust". BTW, on that recording he played all of the instruments including the funky guitar (not Brian).

Yeah! When Queen was big in the 80s, the stadiums were sold out! Queen played the Wembley stadium 3 days in a row!!!! Friday, saturday, sunday and as it was a sell-out and they had to do a bonus&extra-concert at Knewbworth with 150,000 people attending some days later! :) If I am not wrong, this video was recorded in the studio in Munich/München (Germany) where Freddie lived for many years until his death. The street were he lived is named after him: "Freddie-Mercury-Straße". So: If you come to Munich, you should checkt that place out. In his house the video for "Living on my own" was filmed at his birthday-party ... :)

Each member of Queen could/can play all instruments. Roger Taylor is the drummer, but he can play guitar and keyboard too. John Deacon plays bass, but he can play drums and keyboard. Brian May plays lead guitar, but he can play keyboard and drums. Freddie could play all instruments too. They are all amazing! Roger and Brian are still touring as Queen with Adam Lambert as their frontman; and both Roger and Brian have solo careers as well. You can’t go wrong with Queen.. old stuff, or new!! Thanks for the reaction.

Great song written in honor of the great MLK. One more piece of trivia on this song and why it ends with "Fried chicken" They composed the music before the lyrics, so they needed some kind of words to go with the music while creating it and used a Chinese menu for the words. They would sing what ever was on the menu. When they came up with the lyrics and finished, Freddie wanted to leave something in there from the menu.... which is why it ends with "Give me Give me fried chicken" lol Oh and if it's possible...lol The live version at Wembley is better
