I’m s nail technician, I went to nail school in 1990. This kit is so awesome! The way most of these nails tips are made today give you nice strength in the apex!! Now it’s a lot easier to do my own nails and keep them nice!

Mine never last more than a few days and I don't do anything strenuous with my hands. I use the file to rough up the nail beds, wipe with alcohol, push cuticles back, use dehydrator and primer and do exactly how you did. Next I will try to do a base coat or thin layer of builder gel first before applying extension.

They last me 2 weeks till soak off I'm sure they'd last longer but I just redo them that often. Make sure there are no air bubbles. I don't use primer or protein bond; just rubbing alcohol to get rid of any small particles from filling. Also I file the inside of the artificial nail to ruff it up.

Thanks for the great video! I just got this kit and I'm a total newbie, never tried anything on my nails other than polish. I got into nail stamping about two years ago and I'm still learning. I don't have any gel polish, just regular polish & stamping polish and It's more of a way to relax and be artistic. I'd like to work on some sets in advance and when I'd like to wear them they would be painted already. My question is if I were to paint and stamp the nails first using a stand, would I still be able to glue these to my nail and use the lamp, or is there another type of glue I could use? Aww so happy you like it, I would not recommend to glue them with gel to avoid any bubble of air under the tips as you would not be able to see under a painted nail , as that can cause a fungal infection, you could apply the base and the glue the type with regular glue , that could be safe it just won’t last as long …

I wouldn’t recommend painting them first because the light goes through the clear nail. I tried painting them first one time and the glue was not able to dry at all

Oh no you do not have to top coat after each layer of polish. You can apply the next coat as soon as you finish curing. When you are satisfied with everything end with the top coat😊

hey love, ideally i would recommend to purchase the shape and length you like, of course can file them to your desired shape but one thing i have learned with these affordable tips when i do that , they don't last as long, as the tips closer to the middle are a little softer and have a bigger change to split or break, so if you do file them just be mindful of that hope this helps :*

aww thank you love, when i rush at times i get bubbles too, it happens, to avoid them i put a little extra product so when i press it glides more uniform and i don't have to press to hard if that makes sense, as for longevity it all depends on how you prepare you nails before the application, very important is to buff them a little with a file this way you remove any oil buildup on the nail, that will help with the glue being stronger, and also i use dehydrator and primer, before i apply the glue, mine last me 2-4 weeks depends on how often i do the dishes now that i have a baby i do lots of them and how clumsy i am hahaha , hope this helps, and Happy holidays xoxo

i normally don't mix regular polish with gel polish, honestly i prefer the gel polish as it lasts a lot longer on my nailr and you do need a lamp for those but it's worth it , hope this helps :)

Yes , but you would have to file a little the top and then soak the nails in 100% Pure Acetone (NailPolish Remover for 15min), and they just melt away

Every time I did it, glue spread out of my nail. Does that mean I put too much pressure or too much glue? I feel if i don’t put pressure, there’s gap between my nail. Any suggestions? You did it so easy and your nails look so nice.

it was definitely a learning curve when it comes to finding the right amount of glue, but if it would spill i would file it as gel glue is soft so should file easy. how ever i would rather have spills than not enough and create space or bubbles, that can be a bit dangerous as it would be open for bacteria and possible fungal infection, so if it spills a little just file it , hope this help...

i would think so i just used this kit yesterday with beetles gel nail polish and the nails are hard and sturdy probably because it’s cured and the nail gel is hard. i highly recommend beetles gel nail polish i love it so much

@@minkihairoil this kit has only clear base gel that is used to bond the tips to your nail, and yes you need to put it under the uv light which the kit should have , I don’t think the one I listed has extra coloured gel polishes included in this kit, but any gel needs to be cured under the light love , either it’s base, top coat, glue or nail color.

That’s a very good question babe, I am not sure honestly, as I never tried that however what I can say is this kit can keep your nails on for few weeks at least, and the tips are pretty strong compared to kiss one, I might try to look into for my next video 😘😘😘 the only thing it might not be good is you can’t really see how well the gel is spread underneath the tips when they are fully done to make sure they last and there are no bubble so it might be a little more difficult from that perspective

Have you tried to add a little extra gel? That sometimes helps , I would rather have a little spill and file it afterwards rather have air between nail and tips as that can cause fungus infection in the long run.

Hey Karen, honestly with this glue I find it last equally as long when adding the gel/glue on the nail before or just applying straight to the nail, however I do recommend to use a dehydrator and primer to prepare your nails before Applying the tips, as for me personally it helped to make it last longer on my nails

I am not sure which set you got, but the one I listed in the description of this video has the gel bottle and that is the bond between your nail and the tip love, and you need to cure it under the lamp as it shows in my video, there is no extra glue involved in this technique ❤️

You can flash cure them first for about 15-20 seconds before painting them but you can't wait until they are painted to do any curing at all. They'll slide around while painting them bc the builder gell glue isn't super thick.
