it does not really stop the spray and pray post plant as wingman always defuses on the center of the spike so he can be pinged and spammed, viper mollies yeah definitely

I don’t think it rly stops it tho. Wingman will always be directly above the spike. But more importantly the post plant spraying meta is very site dependent. Even tho Pearl was removed, there are still some sites such as sunset B that are very spray and pray heavy

For all the people that did not watch the video or the last VCT, the reason wingman aids in eliminating the spam on post plans is because it allows players to take positions in a man advantage to punish players peeking out to shoot wingman. That's why it's so helpful and meta on Icebox and Sunset, both maps with plant sites which traditionally have always had the play off and spam/until the bomb approach for post plant. I agree it's rare to see wingman fully defuse the spike, but getting it halfed without losing a player is a huge difference maker.

@@pumpkinvgclol thats pretty much true, most pros actually focus on their Macro skills cause other pros wont even give you a chance to make a hero play cause of team work and how they use their brain, theyre not like you lol they actually use their IQ, so most pros dont practice their aim that much anymore, while Radiants and Immortal games are not that strategic so good aimers bloom more. Perfect example of this is Tenz, he just whiffs most of his shots when hes supposed to be one of the best aimers of the game, You can also just see highlight plays with pretty good aimers, Tenz, Demon1, Aspas etc. , not to mention Aces shouldnt be possible if everyone in the pro scene has godlike aim, but thats not the case. So no youre just plain wrong. Youre not that guy.

at 9:50 sentinels didnt use any util to deny the plant like you said. the spike hadnt even been tapped and their fast flood was based off of hearing wingman's footsteps. its still advantageous to flood when wingman is planting because sometimes you can still catch a player offguard (e.g. a KJ putting mollies on bomb, a gekko picking up dizzy/thrash etc)

You're right in that they didn't necessarily flood thinking it was a player planting, but it still shows why flooding is much less advantageous and risky

I believe that after Sentinels played against PRX in AVL, they noticed the way they played gekko is just so creative especially the flash. So they got rid of Fade on Sunset then bring in Gekko

His other abilities are super team dependent so his overall skill cap is really high. He's gonna be one of those characters that's insane in top level pro play but still hard to get easy value out of in ranked, so Riot will probably have a hard time balancing him lol

I don't think they'll nerf him much but may change the molly interaction! Gekko has a huge skill ceiling and requires amazing teamwork to get good use out of his kit.

This current initiator Meta is probably the most balanced so far. All characters are essential in 1 or 2 maps and some like Breach have space in different team playstyles.

PRX always invent new meta but somehow the other team was the one who able to mastered it. the same happened to Yoru meta, dont get me wrong Forsaken is STILL arguably the best yoru in the scene but for overall setup for utilizing Yoru PRX may not be the best.

If your ping is already low or have already good connection to the game server then connecting to exitlag server and then to the game server then of course will increase your ping. If you have constant high ping and/or ping spike, connecting to exitlag server will optimise the connection => lower ping and smoother connection.
