I was just out at ghost river last weekend before the snowfall. Are you guys running 35's on the jeep? Great video and good to see other Veterans!

Oh my goodness! I was out there a couple weeks ago trying sourcing out some camping spots for this summer and made it past the first set of ruts and decided to opt out as I was solo with my pups! So glad y'all made it up there! Last time I was winter wheeling there we had to recover a handful of vehicles from that one super steep road! Thanks for sharing!! Living vicariously ova'here! :)

Tree Lovin Tech tip for you! When you are using a metal shackle, tighten it, then back it off 1/4 turn so it doesn't seize up on you! Awesome video man, it looks a lot nicer now than it did a few weeks ago.

I got by wife a 2021 Lexus LX570 and I know there is going to be a redesign but she needed a new car and I wanted to buy her something reliable. So she wants to take it off roading this summer and I am wondering if it is capable enough to take it here and make it all the way through
@BlindmanOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
The trail conditions are depend heavily on the ice pack and snow pack, you can likely enjoy most of the trail, however the main water crossing can be difficult if you don't have clearance, the Lexus may struggle a bit and lately there has been more than usual rigs stuck needing to be recovered. I recommend checking it out but always trust your gut, if you're not 100 percent sure you cna make it in and out of an obstacle then it's best to avoid it

@BlindmanOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
After march 31st the trail is closed from the point of the first river crossing as there is a fish hatchery nearby and need to make sure the little fishies can populate

What month was this filmed in? This year is the first year I have had a vehicle capable of making it down there and I was out pretty well every weekend in august and september and the first 2 in October. I'm pretty excited for spring even though we are only getting our first real taste of winter today.

Is this trail manageable for stock vehicles? tacoma sr5 on K02s, otherwise stock. Thanks!
@BlindmanOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes yes sometimes no, recently there has been allot of traffic on the trail and many people being recovered, climbing up on the ice shelf during the water crossings can be tricky if you don't have proper clearance

Depends on how high the ice shelfs are at the designated crossings, some make it some don't, best not to go alone if your stock
