OEM manufacturers won't go all out even if they are sourcing the audio system & components from BOSE. They have to manage to keep the ex-showroom price to a certain limitation. On the other hand Aftermarket products installation has no limits, since it's customer specific choice. So don't blame the BOSE system.

Hello, For a combination of speakers XS-162ES at front & XS-160ES at rear, which is a suitable amplifier among XM-GS4 or XM-4ES? I require to get crystal clear sound only with some good bass. I am NOT looking for very loud sound. What are the extra things to get from XM-4ES over XM-GS4, is it only loudness or the output is far better in terms of clarity? Is it worth the price if I install XM-4ES or XM-GS4 will meet my requirements? Please let me know. Thanks!

I was here a few months ago and demanded the same kind of setup, my voice was not heard as I was told the Bose setup is good and all, btw I spent millions of rupees on av receivers and dacs for my personal entertainment systems. Bro I own a Kia Sonet which is my daily drive.. Bose system is weak. Only a true audiophile will notice it. There is no sound system in sub 20 lac with good speaker. My volvo s60 system eats bose. I prefer kicker though. Bose is good for home audio which is their forte..
