The Leafs have proven they can play tough against the Boston Bruins, but penalties have also cost them goals. This video talks more about that and what Toronto should do going forward. #hockey #nhl #torontomapleleafs

@@jordanscottmacaulay true I remember the 90s holy cow it was different - I've considered a lot of the revisions to be positive, even the whole don't hit the numbers rule. Until rookie kids started just scrunching up against the boards staring at their feet to play with the puck for an eternity behind enemy goal... confident they wouldn't be bothered by the other team because hey! My numbers are showing. Didn't take the spirit of the rule at all and created an awareness hole in their hockey IQ a mile wide. And people wonder why new "talent" is getting absolutely creamed out there and can't take a hit.
@Crazygamer_2578 күн бұрын
@@jeffreycairns767 I absolutely agree. The officiating at the NHL level is bizarre. I think it must be coming from the league. Why would 2 linesman want to get between two NHL players throwing punches at another? It doesn't add up. I would actually say the refs being involved in the fight makes it more dangerous. It just doesn't make sense, I've seen refs more willing to let two 16 year old junior kids fight than these NHL refs.

@jeffreycairns7679 күн бұрын
There's no actual reason. People don't like that they have the biggest fanbase of any team, get more media coverage then any team, and are the MECCA of the hockey world. Some complain about the fans but fans are doing what, just about, every other fanbase does, cheer for their team and get excited when they win. 1 thing they don't do is deliberately hate or troll other teams wishing other teams failures. Imagine, looking up a teams highlights and complaining that that teams fanbase is talking about that team. How stupid does that sound? Honestly? That's what haters do and, again, it makes zero sense
@jaedenh9 күн бұрын
@@jeffreycairns767 We must see different types of leafs fans then, all i ever see is how much they wish other teams players get hurt, and how the team can do no wrong.. And how delusional they are that this is their year, and then blame the refs year in and year out for a bunch of whiney softies who quit when it gets tough.. Personally i couldnt care less that they are the biggest fanbase, or that they get more coverage cause well duh most networks head office is in like Toronto (well for Canadian TV) and American TV just doesnt give a shit about hockey in general its all about nba and nfl.. And it does make no sense and is stupid that other fanbases do that, but its even funnier when a fan from any fanbase says why their fanbase isnt a bunch of assholes.. When in reality like 99.4% of all fanbases are just normal everyday people but that .6% just like in every single stat when it comes to anything has those outliers that are very VERY vocal and make that fanbase look like total idiots, and since as you put it Toronto is like the hockey MECCA and gets the most coverage.. Their .6% looks like a fuckin joke to the rest and makes them think all of them are like that... Case and point 'WE WANT FLORIDA' well you got them and got fuckin steam rolled, enjoy your 1 round win there fans.
