This is a great pattern, I am going to make it into a tea pot cozy, I will add some cotton batting inside the 2 fabric layers and leave the 2 sides at the end open for the handle and spout. thanks sew much for your pattern.

That’s a cute little bag. Thank you for showing us. What I would suggest is instead of cutting the corners you fold them. I noticed that you sewed each seam separately. When you sew the second seam first of all fold the first seam, at the corner, on the stitch line towards the direction you will be sewing in. Sew down that corner and finish seam. Do all four corners the same way, you now have all corners with a seam sewn down. Do not cut. When you turn the bag the right way the second seam will fold over the sewn down seam, just push the corners into place. This saves cutting and prevents the corners from being weakened. I worked I the sewing industry for years and this is the way we did corners. We just didn’t have time for cutting and they came out perfectly every time. Once again thanks for sharing.
