Your stability assessment of the LH3 is correct. From the Discmania site, "Compared to the current reinvented runs of PD produced so far, the Lone Howl sits happily in the middle between C-Line and the recent straighter flying Nordic Phenom." Great video as always!

Earliest I’ve been in a LONG time!! This was sweet, the midnight prowl and mind bender seemed SUPER similar in flight though, it’ll be interesting to see which is used when!

I would prefer the mind bender personally just because the shape of the flight plate in the hand feels better and the plastic is a bit grippier but the flights are similar, the mind bender can take a little more power but the origin is great for really big left to right shots

Yeah, I thought the metal flake c-line FD we’re gonna be a good bit more stable than the stock c-line, but found they fly fairly similar but with one having stiffer plastic.

I know a couple of Innova molds claim to float in water (the Dragon and the Wahoo come to mind, there may be others) but have a reputation for inconsistency, with reviews ranging anywhere from "great" to "uselessly understable". The Mermaid, or at least the one you have, doesn't appear to have that problem. Have you tested to see if it actually does float?

I haven’t actually tested it, I wanted to at the pond on hole 3 but there was a huge group of parents and kids playing I think hide and seek along the shoreline? You can hear the kids screaming in the background during some tee shots on 2. I’ll have to check them out and maybe make a review video specifically on the mermaid !

I’ve been sleeping like crap lately, working 6 days a week on an alternating schedule of mornings and nights along with trying to film and edit videos and spend time with my girlfriend. It’s tough to judge a course through the camera but if you’ve played there and don’t like it then I’m sorry you had a bad experience. It gets packed on the weekends from casuals and park go-ers but the actual layouts offered are very fun. There’s 2 teepads and 2 baskets on every hole making lots of options available, check out some older episodes from borderland and give it another shot! Episode 184 during the fall was a really fun and visually appealing one 👍🏻
