It was peak, I’m really excited having read all of Kaguya-sama and through rereading and rewatching it, have come to realize just how much this author plans his stories out way ahead of time with subtle hints. He also always manages to evolve the dynamics between characters in an organic way over the course his stories. For an example (without spoilers for anything important), The god damn ramen arc Chika goes through manages to come full circle with the Taxi driver from the fireworks festival who is friends with the first Ramen king turns out to be the final ramen king. The dude is not at all important to overall plot yet his character changes over the course of the story as well as how he interacts with the main cast is just SO engaging and entertaining. In fact the latest OP had so many subtle references to future story plot points, including stuff in Oshi no Ko. The ramen kings even all show up in a poster with Chika in the center.

I went to see that first episode/movie of Oshi no Ko, right after watching your new video here. And Oh Dear, after watching it, I now understand how you felt when you saw it 😔 and also every detail of your opinion you explained, it's accurate & I agree with it. This is indeed a mind blowing show & a roller coaster of emotions, there was a lot of things I wasn't expecting. But no worries, that anime is not too much for me, I liked it ! ☺️

They didn't cut off the big shock in the first episode by making the whole first arc into that movie-length episode, and I applaud them for it. You don't get people "theorizing" the crazy thing for several weeks and spoiling it for people. It really did feel just like Madoka Magica in that you go in expecting a cutesy show for a younger audience but came out with EMOTIONAL DAMAGE.

Honestly I don't know that that episode is based on a very specific suicide that happened. But I think there has been a lot of people since the pandemic to have really been pushed to a dark place and have done stuff that this stuff is much more in the consciousness. So while some people are accusing them of basing it off of particular one I'm not sure that it is

After watching the first episode, I died inside, I watched this episode five times, and when three days passed, I was able to pull myself together, I was simply shocked by Ai's death, I personally think that Ai's death was beautiful, those eyes and the smile on her face, she even died beautifully, with a smile on her face, maybe it will be off topic but her death reminded me of the death of Rengoku.

This anime really opens my eyes on what it is like to be a celebrity who’s a worldwide sensation. Behind that role they play, they always face troubles within their personal lives, and celebrity lives. I love how this show doesn’t just focus on idol culture, but the whole entertainment industry. How everything is business. And that there are dangers lurking from god knows where. I want to be a content creator/streamer/animator, and I’m aware of the risks and dangers that I would face later on. So I’d say this anime is kinda like a preparation guide to if I become big (which I hope I do because it’s my dream). But yeah 9.5/10 and would love to read the manga just to see what happens

Some jokes in the beginning of the first episode were kinda rough. But it literally only gets better and goes up from there. The show gradually get so genuine and handles sensitive topics so seriously the father along it goes. Finished the anime a few days ago after seeing it everywhere. Will definitely tune in for the second season. I started a subscription to Hidive purely for Oshi No Ko. At first, I thought this was a weird anime. It was showing up all over my KZbin recommended and stuff. When I first read about the plot, it seemed so weird. Even more so when I started the first episode. But as I got through the first episode, I fell in love with this show, man. It really started catching my attention around episode 4-5 when social media influencers and stuff appeared. KZbin has always been my dream. I've studied it like a hawk for a decade. I found myself going "I can relate" to "ehhh, that's not exactly how it works" to even "same." I also grew up acting and doing theater, another point allowing me to relate to the characters, lol. When it comes to social media, I've never seen my follower count go above 5k, yet I could still relate and get sucked in. When it comes to acting, although I don't act nearly as much as I used to, watching this show makes me want to get into acting and voice acting more. I felt myself relating to Aqua, editing my own videos tirelessly overnight, and having experience acting. At the same time, I kept wanting Aqua to just get into acting, like the other characters around him. Being like "cmon man, you're a talented actor!" I enjoyed this anime more than any other Spring anime, which is insane. That means I enjoyed it more than Demon Slayer and Dr. Stone, 2 animes I waited to so long for and was so hyped to watch. If you told me from a week ago that I'd like this random anime for than DEMON SLAYER AND DR. STONE, I'd never believe you! Anyway, I'll stop there. Thanks to anyone who read this. I've never had this sort of interest and connection to an anime before. I've always watched the super action-packed and unrealistic animes that pull you from irl instead of making you relate. Sorry if I came off egotistical at all. It's hard to explain how I feel I relate to this anime so much.

I Loved it! I also got very angry at the entertainment industry, and remembered one of my favourite singers went through hell, when he got married and had a child. I love alot of anime but there are certain shows that just make me feel weird before and after watching and i definitely feel like this would be one of them.

This is the first time I've heard about this anime and all I can say is, Wow! It's not something I'm personally interested in enough to watch but it is certainly an interesting premise. Keep up the cute work Wolfychu. I've been enjoying your reviews.
