This Anime Will Haunt Your Thoughts for Years

This anime is something I have wanted to talk about for years, but didn't know how. First, it's subject matter is very sensitive, so I didn't know how to present it in a delicate and respectful way. Second, the critical response to this anime is mixed to put it lightly. From what I understand, people generally love the first seven episodes, but severely dislike the last five, and I can understand why. I even agree with a lot of the criticisms. Nonetheless, I find the premise of the show... and the questions it asks so intriguing, that I think it's worth your time.
