Thanks for sharing this! I create work instructions for my employees all the time and I can't wait to try this out!!! It looks like it will make better instructions than I do on my own. Also, would be helpful to make sure I'm not missing steps, which is super easy to do when you've done a process multiple times and you've gotten used to doing it on autopilot!

Windows has had "Step Recorder" built in since at least windows 7. It has similar functionality to this. Maybe not as clean or pretty. Just click the search and type step then select step recorder.

@@wilsonlongega Yeah it's weird that there are "hidden" programs in Windows that rarely get advertised, used or discovered. Everyone, knows about snipping tool I think, but now Windows also has a second function like it. On a keyboard it's Windows button + shift + S

I'm always on alert to new tools and resources to help me in my business. I already use Canva and Designerr however I knew that I would eventually want to use this tool to create step-by-step manuals without the need to screenshot everything to post into Canva. So far i was doing video guides how to edit videos for my team. And watching this video i came up with an idea to upload a video instruction on YT, create chapters and share the link only team members. This way if they need to watch only particular step they can go to chapters and easily find the right timeline

Recipe for creating a useful step-by-step guide: 1) No more than 10 steps. Better 7-8. 2) A screenshot with annotation is better than text 3) Don't forget to cover personal information in screenshots! 4) Check the guide on your mobile phone before sharing 5) The purpose of any instruction is to take care of the customer. He shouldn't feel stupid. 🕶
