This strategy is still highly profitable in squire gear, and without premade team mates. But if you optimize it more like in the video with luck gear and good team mates, the profit skyrockets. Best of luck!

I kinda hate that this is the optimal way to play the arena. They should just give 20 seconds after each match for the winning team to loot or bring back skull tokens and have those be an arena reward. It just feels like poor sportsmanship to hold each match hostage while your team loots.

On multiple occasions, my other two teammates would get disconnected, and I'd straight up tell the other team to just loot everything before killing me so that at least somebody got something out of the whole game.

A lot of people jump on and try to get the Skull Key spawn room, if it's not the Skull Key spawn room they just leave and try again, they should try preventing it with a timeout if you leave.

Ok but how is this more profitable than squire gear runs? Like I get you can bring in some luck gear without possibly losing it, but I'd rather do a normal run and extract instead of going into arena where it's 50/50 if you even win + you have to share the limited loot you can get with 2 teammates.

Arena loot is HR tier

Game's are fast, in and out. You respawn 3-5 times and all the chests respawn too. If you're good you will have more than a 50/50 win rate. I'm finding this is much more profitable than squire runs. Plus more PVP which is more fun.

Idk if you know this but opening chests with the bard song doesn't apply your luck.

A lot of the "hunting" gear for quests is made harder by having higher luck. To be honest the luck doesn't change the numbers too much, but i figured they would come out with a patch for the hunting loot oversight. So i figured this would be the only wipe i could choose a different religion.

That has not been my experience thus far. The dev's said arena has gear score, but they will be testing MMR is the future.

Not True. Queueing with friends is optimal for sure. But building luck and putting some focus on high tier chests will work with randoms too.

I think it's fine. It's the only way to currently benefit from playing Arena, plus you actually have to win the arena game to get any reward.
