Thanks again for another amazing adventure. My daughter now has her own black diamond harness. She is 12. Thanks for the positive influences... she loves the content

We cannot love this enough! One of our founding goals was to inspire women, but 80% of our viewers are male, so this is just awesome to hear. I hope she is able to make use of that harness and develop into a lifetime adventurer. Thanks for sharing!

I know it can be a pain sometimes, but air down your tires some to make the rocky roads a little more bearable . Of course you need to have a air compressor to fill the tires back up once you get to the main road again. . Great video as always ladies.. 👍👍

I was thinking the same. 😉

We did have an air compressor but didn’t bother with it. Maybe next time now that we know how long it takes!

Also get some 10 ply tires. Makes all the difference.

Amazing Trek by fantastic and skilled Adventurers who show us the correct way to safely sojourn in the wilds of Arizona. I like the swimming holes best. Thank you for your trek video..!! Paka from Oahu, Hawaii

You are so right, one of the most beautiful places in our state! We have dropped a vehicle where you parked , drove another to the headwaters near Tramway and gone down the canyon to Hanging Gardens. As always, thanks for sharing and Happy Hiking!

That sounds cool. We’re planning on more WCC tomorrow… I wouldn’t mind seeing it all.

@@wildpathsaz In the 80s we did a two week trip, dropped in above the headwaters at Happy Jack. Went all the way down to the Gardens. Spent some extra time at Wilber Canyon. That was one of the best trips we’ve made. If I remember correctly the next year we did Mormon Lake to Payson, another epic trip. Gotta love Arizona!

@@rvtech101 we just did an overnight trip to Maiden Falls - they are much better in person than the pictures! West Clear Creek is an absolute gem, although we could have done with fewer daddy long leg spiders. Once we cleared them away enough to get in the tent, we knew we weren't coming out until morning no matter what 😆

@@wildpathsaz Lol,awesome, I’m jealous ! Scared of spiders, what are you, a bunch of gir, oops! Never mind! Did you spot any ringtail cats? We always come across them there, also over at Fossil Creek. We’re flipping a coin to go hike around Wet Beaver Creek or Blue Ridge Reservoir in a couple weeks. Glad you had fun, thanks for sharing! Happy Hiking!

What a beautiful place! Looks hard to get to but I’m sure it’s worth it. I’m glad you’re getting a new Garmin! Awesome video!!

We love every place we’ve ever been on West Clear Creek - very rugged but mostly beautiful and unspoiled. The Garmin arrives Monday!!

🤣 we didn’t make that pile, but we were glad to see it since our GPS unit was kaput.

I knew better, but I did it anyway, so I deserved it. The new one is supposed to arrive today! Well, it's a refurbished one that Garmin traded me for a small fraction of what it would cost new.

Did you park on cedar flats? I wonder if I was just where you parked..
@wildpathsaz2 ай бұрын
We parked on the south side of WCC - end of forest road 142J
@exploringgodscountry2 ай бұрын
@@wildpathsaz trying to find 142J on a topo map. Not much luck... I was on North side though. Looks like you were possibly near cedar mountain at one point? I camped directly to north of West Clear Creek and to east of it on butte. Near Blodgett Basin trail into the Bull Pen. I've not done much exploring up those drainages though as my friend I go up there with doesn't do too much hiking. We mainly swam at park and swim stuff. Pretty awesome none the less! Really cool to see more of the creek in your video.
@wildpathsaz2 ай бұрын
It’s near Cash Tank on the south side, east of where you were. Google Maps has a pin on Hanging Gardens. It’s a great spot, but the rugged roads and lack of trail mean you have to work for it. I guess that keeps the crowds away, so that’s good! Glad you enjoyed your time there - I will have to go check out your latest video.
