Ever since Ghost of Tsushima released on PC I've been eagerly anticipating the Assassin's Creed inspired mods people would create for the game. In this video I'm using one of the coolest ones I've seen thus far; The Assassin of Tsushima Mod by Shad0w73.

A parkour mod would be great. I mean theres rolls, Jumps, Vault, grapple hook etc. But a parkour focus mod would be GAME changer

You can already parkour and there’s even a grappling hook. Sure, the parkour is very toned down but you can do things like climb on roofs

Despite those that may disagree, there’s a lot of elements in the story that are similar to AC. There’s a lot of discussion between Jin and the other characters about what it really means to be a samurai. He defends his style of stealthy kills as a way to defeat the enemy and defend those that cannot defend themselves. Sure the gameplay has some major differences because it’s a sucker punch game, but the writing is very similar to earlier AC games. I hope we see as good of a story in AC shadows

Just bought this game on Friday on ps5 and man does it look fucking beautiful the colors,the graphics,the weather,etc. and I see why people are saying this feels more like AC game than the newer ones and it actually does, it feels so smooth especially the combat, parkour not really. But overall I’m loving this game

I could argue the gameplay feels different than AC, it has similarities, sure, but it feels more like a Sucker Punch game. What really gets me is the story, it is fucking PERFECT for an Assassin's origin story.

@@leobruch3697 and there is no mesh import tool for the game yet, my guess is after AC Shadows we will see a rise of mods for Ghost of Tsushima as AC Shadows doesn't look its going to do well, I hope I'll be proven wrong but if SW Outlaws is an indicator of current Ubisoft quality level, I don't expect them to do well by AC!

I got this game a week ago on ps5 and I’ve been GRINDING. I think the best armour without any mods is the Sakai helmet and mask with a red gosaku dye armour 🤩

I want to play this game again. I decided earlier when playing the game to really master my bow. I got so good that I stopped using the slow time mode all together. Sometimes I use it when there are WAY too many enemies on my screen but the majority of the time I don’t use it and my archery is what saves me. If I were to play now, I’d be spamming slow time bullet and still miss.

I suggest for stealth using the nekoma's hunt charm it allows you to throw a kuni in your chain assassinations for long ranged kills

That is an awesome looking cape. You can behead people early in the game? I also shot a fleeing person with an arrow. Isn't the color supposed to change when you decapitate someone? I think Tears of the Kingdom is my Soul game. This guy is afraid. When I see enemies in fear I think of Sir Robin from Monty Python and the Holy Grail freaking out in the killer rabbit scene. Does Iron Will protect you from mortal damage? Did they scream? Yes they did. That one guy who wasn't afraid and wasn't air assassinated screamed when you killed him. Hearing this in English is odd for me. I played this in Japanese. So there is a sequel? It needs to be in Mainland Japan and take place in the second Mongol Invasion. Did you make any Rise of the Ronin videos? No one seems to talk about that game. 7:27 AND STAY DOWN! 7:44 That death cry is awesome. Dogs have fear? 12:09 I like doing that. 17:17 I don't think Tsushima has very many mountains. I think they barely count as one. 17:50 Oh yeah, this game came out during the apocalypse. This game was one of my few moments of solace during that time.

I know you can't admit this but that's because Ghost does what Assassin's Creed refuses to, in many ways. It's what people ACTUALLY want, not what they're told to deal with.

@@RipaStar00 Again I understand you are obligated to defend Ubisoft from any and all criticism and thus you cannot acknowledge the role Ubisoft has in why Ghost is viewed the way it is. However, Ghost did Assassin's Creed hasn't been able to do in a long time and won't do for the foreseeable future. That's why it's remembered as the better AC, because AC doesn't do what this game in the same genre can do. To offer another example look at RDR2 and Kingdom Come Deliverance. All three of these games scratch a particular itch that AC simply haven't had scratched in a long time. Ghost unlike the other two however is in the same genre and understands the genre better than Ubisoft has in a very long time and again will unless their entire perspective on the franchise changes.

My hot take: GoT stealth is worse than AC game 1. AI detection in not that good. Remember in Odyssey, once guard spot their supplies being burn, the next thing is whole God damn fort is on high alert. In GoT, you can cut down half of the camp while the other half chilling 2. GoT have way less tools. AC Mirage and other old AC have way more stealth tool than GoR ever. Not to mention some tool in GoT wad introduced way to late into the game, I not use the blow dart much since I almost finish the game when I got it 3. GoT Parkour is the same as the RPG trilogy.
