NOT 60kW PERhour. It is 60kW Hours or 60kWh (meaning it can supply 60kW in an hour, 6kW in 10 Hours, 3kW in 20 hours, etc.)

So hard to find info on how to get one of these. It ticks all the boxes of function over form and is more appealing to a simple guy like myself than the overly gaudy Silent Yachts catamarans, but it doesn't seem there's any way to actually buy one and no way to verify the manufacturers as reliable, let alone how easy or hard it would be to fix something when it inevitably breaks Also, why pull away from the mic when you inhale. It's distracting and makes you sound sick

HopYacht is about 10 feet shorter but only $209k. Also has a sail. Smaller solar output though.

Is it a competitor of the Cat 12 from Sun Concept and if yes can you tell us about the differences ?

Yes, it is. Azura is cheaper but with some better specs. Azura used for the hull Aluminum and Cat used Fiberglass. Azura is a little bit cheaper compared with Cat. But Cat 12 (2 x 40 kW) is more powerful than Azura (2 x 10kW). So it depends where you want to compromise.

2-3 kw is about 4 horsepower... Can you imagine trying to move a 40 foot boat like that with a ton of windage with duel 2 hp honda outboards 🤣😂Someone got the math wrong on that lol

There are twin 10Kw motors that can produce the equivalent of 30HP. Obviously this can only be sustained for a short period but can certainly get you out of a pinch. Plus, I would install a 20Kw generator for such back up demands to extend safety net.
