Appreciate the shout out gentleman, the car sounds glorious, and yes, the JHM LWFW and headers takes care of the lack of torque. EDIT - Those rotors are indeed heavy (34lbs each), but the concavity makes them super rare. A 15/20mm spacer on OEM wheels will get you flush 👍👍

the connector for the exhaust valves is in the back left on the trunk. If you disconnect it, they valves will stay open even in comfort mode. No CEL either.

A couple of errors in the video: The R8 had two different V8s. It eventually (approx. 2011) did get the slightly more powerful V8 from the RS5 and B8 RS4 Avant. All V8 R8 spyders have this later V8. The E92 M3 V8 is is cross plane. Not flat plane.

Also the RS4 B8 has the same v8 engine and S-tronic transmission.(He said its different.)

i traded my 2016 dodge dart for my 2014 RS5 (panther black crystal effect) just over a week ago, and im absolutely loving it. such a violent car, one of the absolute best sounding engines i have ever heard. its an absolute monster. mine is still stock, but eventually get a few things done

i'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a titanium exhaust package for the rs5. owned both 2014 and 2015. The only thing the Titanium package adds is cosmetic items. There's no performance parts added. The only exhaust you could get from factory was the sports exhaust and it's stainless steel. BUT, I can hear a difference in your exhaust tone so it's probably got a resonator delete with that grunt. Or Capristo or Milltek.

Nice Video! Just one mistake: the B8 RS4 has the exact same engine as the B8 RS5. Its not different. The V8 from the R8 is different as it uses the V8 from the RS4 B7 with some upgraded parts.

I have a 2013 Audi RS5 Ibis White myself, I'm pretty sure there is no factory titanium exhaust option . There is a Sports Exhaust option that wasn't worth it (better to go aftermarket). There was a titanium package but just gives you silver accents on the outside and inside of the car. I would love to find out what brand exhaust is on the car, kind of sounds like Milteck or something. I have the AWE Extreme Exhaust which is nice but not quite loud enough for me and I think i want a deeper tone as well. Might switch it up.

Nice car, enjoy it. If you want to demonstrate the best of this car make sure to press the pedal past the kick-down switch that way the DSG reaches for the lowest possible gear rather than just downshifting. I own that car, mint condition, all options except carbon ceramics. No mods, launch count zero, same as my Porsche. It needs nothing other than tires and brakes. Next time I do brakes it will be 034Motorsport 2-Piece Floating j-hook Brake Rotor Upgrade Kit, the rotors are AP Racing, larger fronts, shimmed same 8-pot front calipers. All mods are different, most are not better, all that gets lighter is your wallet and you go faster to broke. Ride your cars don't let the ride you, and remember the world looks better through the passenger window.

So have to correct you the RS4 and R8 have the same engine the R8 had a few differences like upgrades but it’s the same 4.2 the block isn’t at all related to the 5.2 because the rs5 doesn’t have the extra two cylinders like the C6 S6 has

I bought a black 2014 and I really wanted a white one but I got a good deal and it had over 10 grand in maintenance just in the past year. I have every service record from r 64k miles but I'd rather have the white car. But I need a set of the black 20in rotors

there are three companies that tune the RS5 v8. Velocity (only one that has crackle), JHM (the best tune on the market), and APR (old tune with no revisions).

Go for upgraded clutch pack/lwfw and stability control suck as bushings first. You dont need to upgrade the brakes except pads/lines. If youre smart clutch discs and steel shims wont be more than 400. One thing i havent done i want is a trans cooler. But i think im in for a trans swap anyways.

This is the factory titanium exhaust with high flow cats and non resonated downpipes/headers. Xpipe coming soon! Should totally change the sound and hopefully we can do an install vid for you guys!

The RS5 has the same engine as the 2009 S5 4.2 V8 FSI.The only difference is the RS5 is supercharged guys 🔥🚂 Oh the 2009 S5 v8 has 324 ft lbs of torque which is more than the RS5 😳

RS5 V8 comes from Audi V10 but two cylinders cut off, so it has high pitch sounding. RS4 is slightly different but similar but different trans and timing chain guides
