Croaker has worked best for me in the Atlantic side. Try Gandy bridge for Pompano, caught couple of 15 inchers last weekend.

This is weird and it won't catch you any monsters but throw out a number 14-15 sabiki with a small weight from the shore or in shallow water at the pier and just let it sit. There has to be some current. Those tiny jigs will move around in the current and 16-18 inch snook love them.

🌴 Using the right bait just seems to make things easier, finding bait well that’s a whole different video 😄, and then finding snook , I haven’t seen ya fishing by the bait shack on pass a grille for a long time always seen big snook there, ever since the jacked up the tolls I ain’t been there eather, it seems natural presentation pilchards, crab, sand fleas, thread fins , always gets bites, and makes for a good day !

The one in the video is a 6ft 1/2inch mesh! 3/8th would’ve been perfect! I also have a 8ft 1/4 but I don’t want to throw my nicer net there since the dolphins are notorious for destroying cast nets there.

I have to say that I have learned more from You about Florida Fishing and I just moved here in November from Cape Hatteras OBX. I have blasted Rockfish & a 9lb 2oz Largemouth and my destiny is to land a snook, a peacock and big predators. Another fantastic day fishing with live bait & light gear Thonny. I wonder what fish with be migrating the first of May when I'll be in Tampa/Clearwater for a week? I need to know what gear that could help me be successful & HAPPY~!

Gotcha. The palms missing through me off because I thought they were to keep the fins from poking or cutting your hands. Sun protection only makes sense.
