My first thought was helium. Then, it's attached to a string that got yanked up. I NEVER would've guessed an inverted hemisphere. Once again, I learned something new from you today, and I thank you for teaching this old dog lots of new tricks!
@michaelccozens10 ай бұрын
The odd rotation of the ball after the first bounce (most observable in the drop done in front of the garage door) indicated some kind of unbalanced load within the ball, but the disguised inverted elastic half-sphere is a neat trick. The aforementioned rotation is probably why the ball is uniform in colour; any kind of patterning would immediately destroy the illusion that the ball was the simple object it appeared to be.

SCP-018 has the appearance of a Super Ball made by the Wham-O company in 1969. It is six (6) centimeters in diameter and coloured red. Found when the ██████████ company was hired to clean out a warehouse that had Wham-O merchandise in it, SCP-018 was noted to be able to bounce with extreme height. At first thought to be a pleasant child's toy, SCP-018 was able to bounce with over two hundred percent (200%) efficiency (that is, if dropped one (1) meter, it would bounce two (2), then four (4), then eight (8), then sixteen (16)). The ball soon became a dangerous projectile, reaching speeds estimated at over 100 km/h and damaging property and injuring five (5) in the city of █████████████. It came to a rest after several days in the nearby lake of ████████, and was retrieved by SCP personnel. Due to the speed of the object, and the total surprise by its victims, no cover-up story was required or initiated.
@peterjackson266610 ай бұрын
The speed becomes so high that the ball incinerates because of friction with the atmosphere, like a meteor.

My name is Jerry Calvert and six years ago I developed a motor that runs solely on kinetic energy from springs. It is self driving using approximately 1/5th of its energy to drive itself and the other 4/5ths to do work. I call it the, 'Hydra-Kinetic Motor'. I understand the laws of physics and the popular consensus of its interpretation as is commonly known to everyone who studies such sciences. My motor is quiet, clean, inexpensive, small, and extremely powerful. It can power anything. I've been telling people for years. I have a working proof of concept prototype. It is plain to see, nothing hidden and I can explain in great detail how it works. It is very basic and simple, even a child could understand how it works. It's not complicated. I've used preexisting technology to create something brand new. I known over the centuries and especially to the very day there is a new scam every second being revealed. This is not one of those. I've been trying very hard to get the word out to no avail. Creating the device was actually easier than trying to convince people because everybody is so stuck in the rut of a closed mind. I'm not sure if it defies any laws of physics. At this point I don't even care. I just know that it works and very well. It can be used in place of every single energy source we are currently using and can be rolled out for production in a matter of mere months. It has the power to change entire industries practically over night. All I need is a chance to show people, but how on earth does an unknown do that? I have the energy answer to the world right here, but nobody believes me, nobody will listen to me, nobody knows me, nobody seems to care. It's odd. But I have indeed achieved what they claim cannot be done. I did this years ago and have this here with me right now! I can prove every single word I say both on paper and in the real world and would love the chance to do so. I will debate any amount of physics professors, PhDs, engineers, anybody credible about it and in front of a live audience too! Whatever. All I need is a real chance to show the world a new way of thinking. Nobody knows who I am or what I have accomplished. Yet I have the answer to the world's energy needs right here!!! Do not compare me to anyone else. I am my own self and I stand alone. This is very, very easy and very, very simple and anyone can build one if I show you how. I don't want your money, I'm simply trying to give it away for free. To give everyone on earth true energy independence. I can do that if you'd let me. What a shame that you won't. We all lose as a result. What a shame that you simply will not let me show you how. I'm going to keep trying for as long as I'm able to do so. That's all I can do I suppose. What a tragic shame.
