I totally feel that. I’m not even a dancer, but I got 2 subjects in my career (acting) about it. Well, my first teacher of ballet started showing us the barre independently of how skilled we were in it, just to be sitting the rest of the scholar year, even eating while we dance. She was for many reasons an awful teacher.

If you pause, you can see Slawomir' s eyes checking Sabrina' s back and arms on purpose as soon as he places his both hands. The maneuvre has become soooo internalized for him that he can lift her eyes where he knows there will probably be something unaligned. He' s kinda waiting for it. The master is mastering! Not to talk about how he "casually"😎 asks her to try it while "casually walking around" because he knows that Sabrina is on the shy side but he also knows that Sabrina is a killer✨ (if this is how it looks her first time, my whole career has been a lie😝). And people wonder why the MBA produces so many outstanding talents...

It's probably like tetris. You see it everyday, you play it everyday for hours, you start seeing the colors and shapes when you put the game down. I was only in a dinky little community ballet as a kid (no pointe), but I could still show a military man the difference between good posture and relaxing a chest puff and elevated shoulders.(Despite my own terrible hunch). But can I see the difference between a good point and banana foot? Absolutely not, my gawd I have no clue.

About as often as the ladies get dropped or almost dropped or overstretched the wrong direction 😂. It's a dangerous partnership. Also I'd think the gentlemen's feet getting hit by point shoes would be a greater concern, no? That said, as you can see, they have peers to support them when they're trying to get into the groove. So overall they're mostly safe with occasionally small accidents and rarely a bigger one.
