In Japan, sliding doors are not mandatory for minivans (surprisingly classified as luxury vehicles) as they would just make them look more like any other work MPV. And it's not like everyone would just charge silly money nowadays for a mod, because this thing isn't at its highest point in polygon count. And alas ten years later, still can't bother looking at the performance tab.

Yes, if I remember correctly, Japanese organization that summarizes automobile sales said "cars have an engine between 1.5 to 3.5 liters and 3 row seating" are minivans and not mandated to have sliding doors. I think it was like 5 years ago, though.

????? Absolutely false Infact certain devs actually endorse paid mods (Like Daddelzeit’s Arctic Research Base map), not to mention previous devs (like DrowsySam, who made 70% of the props for the game) have patreons where you can buy their paid mods

@@Necro_nomic absolutely not false, if you think this is false then you have been gravely misinformed, it is 100% illegal to paywall mods for games *unless the dev's allow it,* the examples you gave is prtecicely that, developers who do allow it, you can however have a Patreon and recieve donations for your work by people who apreciate your creations as long as said work is not paywalled. Bethesda some years back with Fallout 4 and Skyrim tried to introduce a official and legal way for modders to sell their mods but it did not exactly work out to well so they quickly scraped that idea.

@@theldraspneumonoultramicro405 I absolutely would know something like this lol. I’m a modder myself, and I work with and on paid mods almost daily. We’re not gonna get sued. You could argue that certain aspects of paid modding are illegal, like Ferrari’s legal team taking down mods that using their brand. Same thing with kunos taking down mods that incorporate their models. I understand why you would want to believe they are, it would be a comforting thought if you hate paid mods you can just write them off as illegal and go on. The fact of the matter is that for all mods, in all games, all types of modding, free or not, is legally dependent on the game’s EULA. Not specifically or only paid mods are illegal as compared to free mods. It’s either mods are allowed or not allowed. Beamng, as is very very obvious, facilitates the modding community of the game and their continued efforts in not only lengthening the lifespan of their game but bringing in the content they couldn’t, because of time restrictions. Hell, even some modders are so good they are hired as a devs, like agentY. TLDR mods (paid or not) could be legally punished if not for the games EULA. Not depending if they are paid or not. Beamng has no problem with paid mods and I’m not getting sued. Shut up.

As someone who is really in love with jdm vehicles. I own a jdm 2004 Honda Odyssey here in Canada and it’s got the normal doors on it. But the tech they have in their vehicles are so crazy. My ody has things that I didn’t see up here until late 2010s. I’m glad to see modders are bringing some cool stuff to beam for people to see.

I have a good feeling that the mod creator (Docroswagge) seems to be a fan of the Umamusume Pretty Derby anime pretty much. You could see most itashas of the Umamusume Pretty Derby characters on some of the other Arimas like the Monica ELDY & the Caelo/Gaia. By the way for those who don't know: Umamusume Pretty Derby is a anime about racing horses (past/present) as of course.... anime girls.. I think it's a pretty good anime, like give it a watch if you would like.

You really should check out what was actually the first Arima mod to come out, the Monica Eldy now know as the cs2000 platform. It's a sportier model from the Arima manufacturer and I highly recommend

Fun Fact: In the 90s And The 2000s, Asian people liked to call minivans Luxury vehicles, So Asian Market Minivans had a normal opening door than a normal sliding door like a normal minivan, The reason that Asians thought sliding doors are for utility vehicles Or MPVs, So they chose a normal opening door for every Asian minivan, As the asians considered it to be "Luxury."
