I'd like to give a few tips on some rounds you seemed to struggle with. Round 1 - I have nothing except check the sun to rule out the Southern Hemisphere. Still, that was a very difficult round and I had to think a lot to get to Spain. Round 2 - Malta has a lot of brick walls and a distinct mediterranean feel. It's also one of the three countries in Europe that drives on the left (the other being the UK and Ireland). The official languages are English and Maltese, the latter of which has unique graphemes such as ż, ċ, ġ, ħ, and għ, as well as the letter X being commonly used. You sometimes get bilingual signs in Malta too. I recommend you to get familiar with what Malta feels like so you can get it the next time it comes up. Round 3 - The island of Tasmania has distinct possum guards on their telephone poles as seen at 3:04. They're subtle, but definitely noticeable. Also, I know you weren't trying to distinguish Australia from South Africa, but if you are ever in that situation, yellow road sidelines are found in Southern Africa, while white road sidelines are found in Australia and New Zealand. Sometimes you see dashed yellow road sidelines, that means you're in either New Zealand or Ireland. Round 4 - Spain has yellow guardrail reflectors, and to my knowledge they're the only country in Europe to have them. Lithuania has orange reflectors, but the climate should be enough to distinguish them. Also, ALWAYS CHECK ROAD SIGNS. They can hold incredibly useful information that allow you to get a perfect score really quickly. In the example at 3:58, letters followed by numbers separated by a "-" is the road numbering system in Spain, and I think it's entirely unique but I'm not too sure. If you can find that road by scanning the map (which I don't recommend as you need to zoom in a lot to see 5 digit Spanish roads; you are far better off searching for 3 or 4 digit ones. It should also be noted that by scanning on the map, you are giving your opponent time to look around as well), you can easily pinpoint the location. One more useful tip for differentiating Spain from Latin America if you're completely stuck is to look at the road lines. Latin America (including the USA and Canada, but not parts of Chile) uses yellow road lines (either central or both central and sidelines, but never just sidelines) while Spain uses all white road lines (as with the vast majority of Europe). Round 5 - The road bollards in Poland (as seen at 4:36) is almost entirely unique. It is white with a red reflector wrapping almost all the way around. These bollards can also be found in New Zealand. As for road signs and the language, road signs in Poland are usually green (although they can be blue or green on highways). The language is very recognizable, with graphemes such as ą, ł, ń, cz, rz, dz, dź and dż. Round 6 - Ukraine is one of my weak spots, but I'll try to give as much advice as I can. In Ukraine, the google car is red with a long antenna (except in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts (the southeast) where it's BLACK with a long antenna just like most of Russia). The car itself however isn't always visible from my experience. Settlement entrance signs are white with black text, while road signs are blue (although the can be green) with white text. Crosswalk signs in Ukraine are three-striped. They can be found in other places including Russia, but Russia commonly uses a lime reflective border around their crosswalk signs. License plates in Ukraine have a blue and yellow strip in the pattern of the Ukraine flag in place of the EU blue strip, although the yellow isn't very easy to notice. Round 7 - Nigeria has a VERY distinct feel to it in urban areas. A combination of reddish soil, lush green grass, incomplete building frames and small-ish residential buildings with walls (fenced or unfenced) is very distinct to Nigeria. The more you play, the more you can recognize urban Nigeria based on feel alone. The black Toyota follow car as seen at 5:38 is seen in Benin City, as well as parts of Lagos (also there is some history behind why Benin City is in Nigeria, mostly due to the Benin Empire before colonialism but I might be wrong). A red and tan Toyota follow car can also be seen in - but not limited to - Benin City as well. It also helps to learn road signs in urban Nigeria as well, as just the shape and colour of it alone can help distinguish different cities and even suburbs. They aren't too common in Nigeria, but they help a lot. Benin City seems to have 5-sided arrow-shaped or rectagonal road signs, usually rusted. You can however get coloured rectagonal road signs in different colours. What's important to note here is that these signs have white/yellow/black border. The colour of taxis can also help distinguish cities too. I don't actually know Benin City's taxis though. Round 8 - Uruguay has a black google car with no antenna, something that can be seen in Peru, Argentina, and Malaysia (I might be missing a few). At right-angled road intersections, the corners of some buildings have a "chipped" corner, which is very unique to Uruguay and Argentina (and maybe Chile but I can't fully remember) based on what I've learnt. It's significantly harder to distinguish between Uruguay and Argentina in urban areas, but the main thing is road signs. Argentinian road signs have a white strip near the top while Uruguayan road signs don't. To distinguish rural areas, Uruguay uses white-painted wooden poles for their signs, and also have "patches" of trees (also seen in borderland areas around Uruguay) across the countryside. Round 9 - Tuk-Tuks are very common in Southeast Asia, as well as Peru for some reason. The curly language that you saw was Sinhala, one of the three main languages of Sri Lanka. South India has a similar-looking langauge which is Tamil (which is one of Sri Lanka's official languages as well), but Sri Lanka and India can be differentiated purely based on the quality of the camera alone. India has a more grainy and saturated camera while Sri Lanka has a cleaner camera. I just decided to throw in what I know to possibly help you with GeoGuessr in the future. Other than that, great video :)
