I’m with you on the bass boat etiquette. I fished a tourney on Lake Lanier and was in a narrow creek arm and two boats came me and fished it. I got the last laugh because they fished docks and left and I was in the middle and caught my limit right there.

I got a few money badgers on your recommendation, Im digging the smallest size on my bfs set up. It catches everything, crappie, trout, walleye,bass.

I won $2500 on the money badger last weekend! It’s definitely my new cold water crank.

Getting cut off in a kayak happens non-stop, it sucks. Nothing pisses me off more. Luckily I'll have an NK180 this year too and will be able to move easier.

Hey man don't forget to hit them with the wacky rig senko right after you miss them. They are still there. They've done studies you know.........60% of the time it works every time!!

I stopped tournament fishing because so many of the guys I fished against were major tools that think because they’re driving $70,000 boats that they own the effing lake.

Nice comeback. Is the 6.5 your go to money badger size?

Man since you turned me on to the Money Badger that’s my confidence bait I have caught 80% Bass on since I started fishing with them

Even though boaters say they care . They don't. They look down on kayakers . And it's not gonna change anytime soon . Sad but true

As many boat accidents as we’ve had just in TN, it’s a matter of time before a kayak/kayak angler is ran over.
@brianathern91547 ай бұрын
Understand where you'd be pissed with getting cut off. A lot of times its boaters not being aware of Yak and canoe fisherman and some times just rude and lack of courtesy. Darn shame but its that Me First disease. Great job grinding it out and collecting intel for your next tournament. Blessings brother

I think with FFS and boaters looking at that instead of what is in front of them puts us kayakers in even more danger unfortunately, thanks for taking us along with ya

Man how do you usually fish those floating docks? They are all over Tim’s Ford and I’ve never had any luck on them?
@AlexRuddFishing7 ай бұрын
I do. I’ve caught some big ones underneath this time of year. Especially if the sun has been shining on them all day.

@@AlexRuddFishing so swim bait or swim jig right under the dock from what I think you were doing is the best method?
@moose66667 ай бұрын
Alex, as far as not being seen by boaters, since you're vertically storing your rods in your kayak, clip a flag or big streamer from the tallest rod that isn't in use. Those should be seen by boaters 🤞

I’m going to get me one of those light stick things. Where the entire thing is a light bar.

I am about to do the same thing, I had a boat guy pull up about 50 ft. From were I was fishing yesterday facing me he jumped up front and as he was deploying his trolling motor he looked up and saw me then apologized and left lol. I think sometimes they get so fixed on looking for boats they don't see us in the yaks. Sort of like people in cars and motorcycles.

You're absolutely right. What happened to sportsmanship? Blows my mind. I own a boat and respect everyone out there...other boats kayaks and bank anglers. I'm not sure why but it's honestly 99% of the time a guy in a bass boat 🤷🏻♂️

My experiences have shown that if they are swiping at a crankbait, they like the action/depth…it is just the wrong color 😉
