I beat him without cheese, and honestly i feel like he has a bit to much health. I was in the mid 60s in terms of levels when I beat him, and just the amount of damage i would do compared to how much I had to dodge before I had a change to punish didn't feel balanced to me. Just my opinion.

Duskveil isn’t as hard as he seems, this is how I beat him my first run: first off try spellbinder crit w/venomous armguards and insect set, boost crit as much and possible and make use of the spider staff…since he makes a habit of busting immobilize and the hitboxes on charged heavies outta cloudstep seem to not exist half the time anyways I found that focusing on light consistent varied combos works much better than big burst damage. Buff up, and use your spirit straight away (guangmou works great or wight), follow this by transforming into red tides and try to get the two big heavy focus slam attacks off…this should take out most of phase 1 and I can’t confirm this but I assume bugs generally don’t take to fire very well lol , don’t use the vessel (wind tamer helps) till phase 2 starts, pop that then spellbind, be patient, don’t dodge spam and don’t attack mash 2 or 3 light attack then roll or vary combo if you can. Try to keep behind him and ankle bite the fucker, if he gets away from you do t bum rush him cuz he’ll probably use projectiles that you can deflect for focus or jump at you and just try to time at least the last big spin slash dodge if you find yourself close range but in front of it, I found its best to dodge straight into the attacks as this willl cause some to go over your head and you end up behind or flanking him

What's crazy is lorewise he'd be very weak. He's a Loong Prince. Right after learning from master Subodhi, Wukong became so strong not even all the Loong Kings combined wanted to face him, instead letting themselves get bullied by his antics

2.5 nights.... 😂 100 hrs in I am at final boss great sage broken shell final phrase... This and erlang would take me a week... Hopefully.. 😂 I got almost all bosses (missed 1) and secrets tho, at level 112.

I remember him beating me up pretty quickly, after 5 deaths I left for 2 hours to grind and fight other monsters came back and took another 2 tries but after beating this secrets area boss what a game changer for the fight 👏

For me these are what I learned after hours, Don’t let him get his moves off. Increase your attack so much that he doesn’t get the chance to react to you. Spells are best here despite my love for spell binder. You can out damage spell binder by using pluck of many and the freeze ability.

I did this boss on 2nd attempt just stay away, heavy charge attacks, and dodge easzy boss. I died on the first try because i didn't know the lighting move that hits me twice.

He is the guy that fights the Duskveil in Phrase 1. You need to meet him before the Duskveil. Now you miss another boss, and trophy and rewards! :D

Turn off the sound, trust me, you'll focus more on the move sets, gradually you'll start depleting his health more with each try, that goes for any of the harder bosses

You can find scorpion lord before the Duskveil and fight him solo. Its a tough fight but you get a unique item.

That armored mode is breakable with any 3 focus heavy. It might seem like a waste but the bosses tend to have it last longer than it would take to get it back and you also can't knock them while it's up.

This is a moderately difficult boss you can easily beat him with charged heavy attacks all you have to do is stay at a distance. Difficult is Erlang and Scorpionlord.

One way is to have spear stance and as he walks towards you charge your attack and in the last second before he attacks you attack and it will cancel his attack you can do this to more than half his hp

Listen to me, this is the best way to "cheese" him. The main thing you want to do is keep your distance, (reason being, he's an arrogant boss that slow walks and isn't aggressive) Anyways, what you want to do is switch to thrust stance, charge it to level 3 and hit him, it will push him back. Keep your distance dodge as much as possible, use cloud step when he starts doing crazy shit, rinse and repeat. -Your welcome.

Another tip is when he starts doing his signature attack the first time around you can immediately cloudstep to avoid all of the damage, but any time he uses it afterwards try to dodge the first 2-3 strikes on your own and then cloudstep, otherwise your ability will run out exactly at the final, most damaging strikes of the combo, since this asshole (and a few others) just loves to keep extending his combos the lower his hp goes.

Uploaded a cheese method on my page. Requires patience and the Jade Essence drink. You can also use wind tamer to interrupt his airborne attacks at the start. Good luck
