I was lying in a hospital bed a few days after suffering a massive right brain stroke that left my left side completely paralyzed. It's now months later and th date is 19 September 2024and I've just finished listening to it a second time lying in a hospital bedand still completely paralyzed on my left side, but one thing is for certain, Jesus/God is good and I know He loves me and that this too shall pass. While listening to "I Speak Jesus", I'm reminded of the terrible price that Jesus paid to rescue me from the eternal death and damnation that sin brings. Iused to speak hate and bitternes,but now I speak Jesus,and when I do ,tears of love and joy for my Savior flow from my eyes.

I was on a jeep (a public transpo in Philippines) when I first heard this song. I was on my way to work and I just felt so tired, unappreciated and hopeless. And while listening, I can't help but cry as I was reminded of Christ's love and sacrifice for me. I was reminded that He is still with me and He will be with me no matter what happens. His blood truly has the power to cleanse my sins and make me whole. And it gives me hope that one day I shall see Him face to face.

I actually love how they changed the one part of the lyrics from 'liquid glory' to 'crimson glory'! A few years ago, I was almost going to sing this song for a choir special before it was changed to a different song..And when I was going to sing the solo, I was going to ask our choir director if i could change those exact lyrics just like they ended up doing in this video! I came to that conclusion on my own without hearing anyone else sing it like this. Seems so much more meaningful and clarifies our dear Savior's sacrifice so eloquently.🙌💕
