This Bloody Roar 4 Prototype is Broken, but Enlightening

After playing a somewhat early build of Bloody Roar 4, it's even more apparent how much the copy-paste tool was used, how busted the game was, and how some parts were still in the concept stage only a few months before release.

Its funny that the prototype actually used the PF Game Over theme for the losing theme, and the PF Losing theme for the Game Over theme. Not even that was put as a placeholder correctly lol

Hudson should've just ported Primal Fury to the PS2 with the addition of Nagi, Reiji, Ryoho & Mana, Career Mode and voice acting for the anime cutscenes(on top of more anime cutscenes).

Thanks a ton for covering this! Also checked out your previous review of the game ages ago and had a blast with it, glad you also are still doing great with the content. Since you been in deep contact with the comunity have you discussed with other people if someone or some team have tried to mod the final version of the game in order to fix most of it and even add the missing fighters since is code for them?

I'm sure you could do ring outs but you had to smack against the barriers repeatedly, so many times that chances are you'd KO them first.

Just to be sure about this I fired up BR4, changed the match to 5 rounds, entered Arcade mode, and repeatedly did Gado's charge punch on an opponent into the same wall over and over for a few stages. The only time the wall broke was when (1) it broke to reveal a new area to fight in or (2) on the final hit for the final round, and even then some just did not break.

I always felt and knew bloody roar 4 was always rushed and incomplete. Sometimes my br4 would freeze or lag when Their talking. Ex: when they’re taking they would be talking and no voice would coming from their mouths and their lips still moving

Any chance you could do a video on what you would do with the bloody roar series? like a hypothetical BR5 or reboot, what characters would be part of it, the gameplay, the story, any new characters with new beat forms etc etc, I'd love to see it
