This is a video dedicated to showing off a recently released gameplay mod. This is the MovementPlus mod created by ‪@YuriLewd‬ who is also responsible for the Quick Style Swap and Gimmie My Boost mods. This mod is a revamp of the movement system of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, with brand new mechanics and touch ups on the existing mechanics. Allow me to show you why this mod makes Bomb Rush Cyberfunk even more fun to play.

This mod makes it very awesome and fun for people replaying the game and who are familiar with it, that being said i think the vanilla movement mechanics in the game make the most sense for the base game because this looks a little goofy lol but i still love it

Yeah, the speed definitely makes things even more silly, trying to balance both the speed and doing long strings of trick combos. But man, seeing how fast I can go and what skips I can do is super amusing for me.😂

Now another interesting mod of brc is "Map building" then people can make maps (like in The Driver Syndicate) but still in development.

It doesnt seem to pick up speed from manuals alone. It maintains them but tricking while manualing isnt doing it.

How are you gaining so much speed from ground tricks because when I do it I barely gain any speed?

You have to go into the config editor and lower your ground trick deceleration

You can go in to the mod manager to change your configs to tweak to a speed that you want to reach

For the night color, I have set to the code: 366DCDFF. This one worked the best for me

It'd be cool if you actually talk about the mod instead of creamin' over it the whole damn time, also this mod kinda feels like it totally kills what the game is about tbh. It's not about speed, it's about pullin' off tricks and keeping combos. Plus, it's more about technique in the base game, when you go on a rail, you can boost and do a trick that gives you an extra boost of speed, you can keep your speed by doing more combos and not letting that meter drop. Going on rails, you gotta hit more combos to raise that meter but ALSO do DIFFERENT combos because if you keep doing the same ones over and over, it gets stale. Meaning you gotta varry it up to get more boost added hitting combos on rails which keeps your speed high THEN perform boost tricks at a steady consistant rate to go even faster. Bombrush is all about rewarding varriation and technique and those able to pull it off. As for the floaty jumps in the base game, that makes sense considering the game wants to allow you time to think on where you're gonna land when doing riskier moves like the original JSR, (Tho bombrush is much more comfortable about it) Hell seein' this just pisses me off because it feels cheap as hell to go so fast, plus you'd hardly have enough time to even react to nail any combos. Overall, kinda feels like it entirely ruins the gameplay....

And you know what, fair if it's not for you. And it's not like I had a problem with the game's base speed or its mechanics. Hell, I wouldn't be talking about the game as much as I do if I didn't feel that way. What's in the base game is fun, and it all meshes well together. I never had a problem with how the base game's speed is, I just like how this mod spices things up in terms of maneuvering around areas. For me, it was really fun picking up speed by doing tricks and seeing my momentum carry over when landing on rails or going up half pipes and launching up far. That's really fun to me on top of what the game already has. Doing a playthrough with this mod on top of the mechanics already in. Yeah, there are some things that clash, but it's still pretty much the same fun game I was playing where you can go even faster. And you know, it's fair to say that I could've presented this video a little better. I went with the live approach because I figured it was better to show something like this through gameplay more, and I was really enjoying what I was playing. You don't like the mod because you feel it ruins the flow of the game for you, and that's completely okay👍 We're simply on two different sides of opinions, and that's fine.
