Sweet rig Alex! That looked like a fun install. Good to see you at the shop the other day and looking forward to Alu Cab Summer Camp this year!

Excellent video thanks!! Getting my Grenadier soon. I will check out the Buzz Overland gear for sure. I may make a sleep system inside so would be good if they have that configuration. Those slider are awesome with the integrated steps. Will probably replace factory sliders with those.

Right on! Keep us posted on the progress.

Thanks for breaking all these upgrades down. 5:23 Question: After removing the padding and installing the base plate: What did you do to reduce added road noise rock pings etc?
@ok4wd7 ай бұрын
Hey there, you could add a bit of sound deadening; we did not, nor have we, noticed a significant amount of road noise. As for the rocks, we'll have to keep an eye on the noise increase, but our travels so far have not been noticeable. Though we are traveling at moderate speeds on gravel roads. 25mph or so.

Awesome! What is the weight of the rock sliders. They look really good and stout.

Looks like a great set of parts. Very heavy though on an already heavy car. First thing should be a long range tank. Still waiting for a company to bring one out.
@Valenciarony8 ай бұрын
That's the main concern! Some people are talking of removing the oversized muffler system and replace it with something smaller and use the space to add another tank
@charleswaruhiu13127 ай бұрын
Brown Davis already have one. Fits over the rear axle and the rear factory bash plate can still be placed normally without the need of extra or new mounts. The BD long-range tank ups the fuel capacity from the factory 90l to an impressive 240l total, enough for about 1,500km of roaming. I think that's enough for any outdoor adventure.

This would be sooo much fun to out together! I've built my own drawers and know there is an amazing amount of r & d trial and error and error and trial 😜 Man it would just be so fkn easy and enjoyable playing that Tetris game! Love your work guys 👌👍😎

Nice set up. Two questions though, how much extra weight was added to the vehicle with all of those accessories installed and how much approximately was the cost. Just wondering…
@ok4wd10 ай бұрын
The 3R tent weighs in at about 190 lbs, the awning 56 lbs, the fridge about 55 lbs, and the rear storage system weighs 270 lbs, and the sliders weigh 50 lbs each. So total weight is around 671 lbs and the cost without labor is $15,881.00 And if you're wondering about how we offset the added weight, stay tuned for the next video.

We can ship Buzz Overland anywhere in the US.

We have an Alu-Cab dealer MULE Expedition Outfitters in your area that is certainly worth checking out. They can help with installation as well.

How much does all the shit in the back weigh? Thats insane. DRIFTA drawers all day every day. Timber and so customisable.
