This has definitely been one of the best races of the year, if not the best. I wish they would do this more often with road cars because that is what makes Gran Turismo so great. How great would it be to take any road car, tune it to a certain pp and just race for 10-12 laps, that would be amazing. They did something similar earlier in the year or late last year with the Silvia's at Suzuka and it was awesome!! The Sileighty was dominant but it didn't matter, it was fantastic!

I would play so much more sport mode if they included road cars. There should always be road car daily’s available. To your point, that’s the heart and soul of Gran Turismo.

@@Pooz30 agreed, that's what sets GT apart from all the other games. I too think every week should have a daily race of just road cars, other than the nonsense they put on race A. I'm really happy with race C this week, I'm terrible at Catalunya but I'm grinding it out trying to get a good time 🤞

I agree what a race... this is the kind of race I've been wanting as you finally get to drive cars you've either owned or cars you idolised as a kid. This opens up the game and makes you want to buy more cars, rather than group cars

Please tell me guys, does the driver rating affect your actual driving? Are you faster BECAUSE you have a better rating? Or it just shows your abilities? Thanks. If your driver rating does not make you go faster with your car then there's no sense improving it. It's fine the way it is. I am D and S.

@@jamesnyers1721well no, but the better your rating, naturally it means you are faster through ability. The idea is it pairs you with people of the same ability and gives you better races…you eventually find your level. A+ is very hard to maintain but when I race at that level you see people wanting to drive a bit better (plus they don’t need to cheat), so it gets better the higher up you get - in theory.

I had the best race I’ve ever had in GT7. Started P2 and won on the second last corner. Me and the other driver went back and forth the whole race it was epic. I’ve never had a race like that before. I used the BMW. I’d love to know what settings PD made for this car because it drives beautifully.

I had the same complaint 6 months ago. Coincidentally earned my A rank in a daily against Rory EIRIESS with me in P2 and him in P3. It means the algorithm thinks you are skilled enough for the better lobbies. Keep at it and you will be A rated in no time!

Its an insanely fun race, I love that you have to play it smart with the slipstream, I've won once by nudging the leader up the straights to break the slipstream from 3rd & 4th, then took the leader on lap 6

Great race. I've nearly given up racing online due to getting deliberately punted off all the time. I play with a hand controller and can't get my driver rating up high enough to avoid racing with dumb kids, even though I have an SR rating.

I really don't understand GT's slipstream model. Why t_f is it ridiculous strong in this race and in other races, even Monza, You might have a chance to overtake on end of the straight in the breaking zone... when You're close enough outa last corner. In this race slipstream ist unreal strong, in the next one unreal weak. I don't get it🤷🏼‍♂️

Is it really a great race combination if all or most are driving the BMW? Not that successful BOP.. Not to mention the M3 is beating everyone even with up to 60+pp more and LFA and M3 are very even though having 55pp difference. Something really wrong with the BOP system.
