This bride's speech made us go VIRAL on TikTok 👋 | Goosebumps incoming |

10 years ago we filmed this wedding and it still gives us goosebumps watching it today. The bride's speech was our first viral video on TikTok and it's about time we posted the full video here on KZbin. Below is what we wrote in their blog post 10 years ago.
Everyone knows that a love story must have its main characters. For these main characters to succeed in reaching love however, we also know that the story must have its fair share of supporting characters - ‘supporting’ being the key word! This was the theme we saw through and through at Laurie-Anne and Craig’s wedding. Every single guest was there to support the union between bride and groom, and as Laurie-Anne said, were all partial authors of their love story.
THE COUPLE: We first met Laurie-Anne when we filmed her sister’s wedding (Kerri + Jos) a couple of years ago, so it was such a great surprise when she contacted us to be her wedding videographers. Based on the experience we had at her sister’s wedding, we knew we were in for some amazing speeches, a lot of emotion, and most of all, a lot of love. Laurie-Anne and Craig did not disappoint - their wedding was a filmmaker’s dream! They just gave us so much to work with! The hard part was picking what to use.
VENUE: They held their wedding at Queenston Heights Restaurant in Niagara right on the border of Canada and the U.S.A. It was super fitting as Craig is from the States and Laurie-Anne is from Canada (which they incorporated into their decor and different parts of the wedding). It’s proof that amongst the friendly rivalry between countries, true love can persist!
PHOTOGRAPHERS: We were getting a few deja vu moments throughout the day, and one of them included working with David & Sherry Buck (they shot at Laurie’s sister’s wedding too!). Another husband and wife team that are lovely to work with and produces beautiful photos as well - check out Laurie-Anne and Craig’s shots!
WEDDING DRESS: Laurie-Anne’s wedding gown was gorgeous! I especially loved the delicate lace straps - really added something special to the dress! When the bride told me her dress was a Barbara Allin dress from Becker’s Bridal, I knew there was a reason I thought the dress was so pretty! I actually fell in love with a Barbara Allin dress from the same shop when out looking for my own wedding, but because it was out of my budget, I went down a whole other route (here’s an article on my ‘Online Wedding Dress Buying Experience‘).
MAKE-UP & HAIR: Paje Pokjowy and team from Be.You.Tiful Brides worked with all the girls to bring out their natural beauty - they all looked stunning! The bride and all of her bridesmaids were glowing and looked exceptional on camera, so props to you Paje!
