When I heard they were working on a She-Hulk production for the MCU, I was hoping we'd get a court scene with Matt and Jennifer defending Peter. A Matt Murdock cameo did quite nicely, though I hope to see him and Jennifer Walters have a court scene together. Maybe even have them arguing different sides of a case (like the upcoming Blonsky appeal).

Talking about how amazing Tom Holland is at portraying Spider-Man's physicality, Tom is the only person who has ever played Spider-Man who has an extensive dance and gymnastics background, which makes him uniquely well-suited for (and comfortable with) replicating those iconic Spider-Man's stances. Because of that, he has performed more of Spider-Man's stunts in-camera than Toby or Andrew and they will, also, often pull him in to do motion-capture for the CGI 'cause no one else can really believably replicate those moves like him. Basically, Marvel really lucked out when they found this kid!
@thomaskilroy4573
@thomaskilroy4573 2 жыл бұрын
Actually, Andrew also had an extensive Gymnastics background. He won many national competitions when he was younger. Andrew actually embodied the physicality of Spider-Man far more than Holland did. In terms of comic book accuracy, Garfield is by far the closest to Spider-Man’s actual build.

DAREDEVIL 2:49 This is Matt Murdock “A Really Good Lawyer” who also happens to be the Blind vigilante known as Daredevil a Street level hero who’s active in Hell Kitchen. He first appeared in Daredevil #1 April 1964 just two years after Spider-Man’s first appearance. They’ve worked together for years sharing the common goal of protecting New York from criminals with the Kingpin being a shared villain between Daredevil and Spider-Man. I honestly don’t blame you for not knowing how massive this reveal was as this is his first appearance within an MCU film so unless you’re heavy into Marvel outside of the MCU you’ll probably have no clue who he was. Daredevil does have his own Netflix show featuring Charlie Cox who returns as Matt in this film wearing the same glasses and overall suit style. The show for years was debated if it took place within the MCU as the show never referenced anything from the movies besides some nods at The New York invasion from The Avengers not never commenting on what happened. Avengers tower was also never seen in the Manhattan Skyline but did show up in a poster for one of the show, show very much isolated itself from the MCU. But now with Charlie Cox appearing as Matt in No Way Home this pretty much confirms that the Netflix shows are canon to the MCU which is great as Daredevil is such an amazing show highly recommend. FLASH'S BOOK Flash's book is a fun little nod to the DC comic Flashpoint which featured Barry Allen (Flash) traveling back in time to prevent Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, from murdering his mother. As a result, a Butterfly Effect-esque “flashpoint” causing radical changes to the DC Universe. This in a way links to the changes our MCU Peter makes to the villains by “fixing” them he sends them back into newly created universes where they survived which will have many changes from the original universes. VILLIAN INFO RELATING TO TIMLINE So just the be clear on the villains. They went back to alternate universes, ones where they survived rather than returning to the main universes we saw in the Rami and Webb films. The actions of Peter in this film does not rewrite the Sam Rami or Marc Webb films those still play out exactly the same. Every choice, action, or decision creates a branched universe an infinite amount so like I mentioned instead of rewriting the history of the films the villains are set back into alternated universes which were created once they left/returned. Think of it as tree's with the Main MCU/Rami/Webb universe's being the Tree while the branches are different universes based off the main MCU/Sami/Webb universe every possible outcome where events played out differently. Same thing applies to the Marvel comic's, games, movies, and shows all have their original universe (Tree) but also branched off versions where choices played out differently but the overall designs and versions of these characters stayed the same. This is why the MCU actors and armour designs carries over into the What If series along with the renditions of events from the MCU, character designs, and of course voice actors. We also have Marvel's Dimensions which act as realms beyond like The Dark Dimension (Hell pretty much) but Marvel also uses the term for the many Spider universes overseen by Madam Web like the Spider-Verse which seems to act more like how DC universes operate different Earths vibrating at different frequency's instead of being liked to time. This just say that Marvel uses all theories of the many Multiverse types which all could be true when looked at from our world. DC of course have 52 Main Earth's but there's no doubt an infinite amount outside of this collection. Spider-Man 1 to 3 of course still happened but there's now at least two different Sam Rami branch universes one where Goblin didn't die and another where Doc Ock somehow survived by finding a different way to stop his machine. Spider-Man 2 would've played out totally different if Norman was still alive who knows maybe Doc Ock's project could've worked in this universe with the help of Norman instead of Harry who really just funded the projected. Unsure about Sandman he could've just returned to the main Sam Rami universe but you know he's cured now. But if he was pulled out right when he found out Peter was Spider-Man then this would've created another universe one where maybe he no longer could've helped Venom in his fight against Spider-Man making it much easier for Peter. Harry could've also survived as well in this universe. SAM RAMI UNIVERSE'S Main: Spider-Man 1 to Spider-Man 3 (These play out the same) Alternate Universe 1: Spider-Man 1 (Goblin doesn't die and hopefully carries on with his company but who knows if he'll return to his testing) Alternate Universe 2: Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man 2 (Goblin still dies in the universe with Spider-Man 1 playing out the same but in Spider-Man 2 Doc Ock lives and most likely Carries on being good hell maybe he marries Aunt May like in the comic's. No doubt Spider-Man 3 would play out pretty different but who knows.) MARC WEBB UNIVERSE'S Main: The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 (These play out the same) Alternate 1: The Amazing Spider-Man 1 (Lizard is cured early maybe Gwen's Dad doesn't die in this universe depending on when Lizard was pulled out) Alternate 2: The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 (In this universe the first move plays out the same but in the 2nd Electro pretty much survives returning with a new look which no doubt being a big surprise to Peter) PEOPLE IN THE SKY In that shot of the sky being ripped open you can kind of make out a bunch of Spider-Man villains. The one with the Spear is Kraven The Hunter, The character with the long looking stinger is Scorpion, There's a person who looks kind of like Black Cat, We also see a character with a horn who looks like the classic Rhino in that skin tight suit rather than the militant looking mech suit in Amazing Spider-Man 2, Mysterio which i kind of see could be another Mysterio from a different universe, and finally Superior Spider-Man with the tentacles on his back pretty much a story where Doc Ock took over Peter's Body and became Superior Spider-Man. These are all still up for debate but Mysterio was actually confirmed by Marvel as one of those people in the Sky. Other people think they saw Miles as well a skinny tall humanoid shape which suits his character while other people have brought up Madame Web so there’s a lot of possible hints at future characters. This is also why time travel works completely different in the MCU compared to other time travel mediums. If you go back in time and kill yourself you simply don’t disappear like we see in Back to the Future but instead you create an alternated universe where you die while your original universes carries on with zero changes. If the Avengers killed Thano’s as a baby this would just create a universe where Thano’s never excited but this doesn’t change anything within the mainline MCU. LOKI So yes the event's of Loki pretty much opened the Sacred Timeline to the greater Multiverse. Remember the Sacred Timeline was already a bunch of different timelines connected together with the TVA removing the more dangerous ones the branches but once He Who Remained was killed this opened up the Sacred Timeline to the greater multiverse thus being the reason all these villains and Spider-Man were pulled into the mainline MCU. The other's universe we've seen looked like they originated from the original MCU timeline as they share similar designs and storylines etc. But the Sony Spider-Man movies are very different both from a story standpoint and designs while also lacking any other Superhero's like The Avengers.Time is all happening at once so who knows if the events of Loki created these other timelines or if they were just blocked off from connecting to the mainline MCU but regardless the Multiverse is open and who knows what could happen next.

Thomas Hayden Church only did the voice lines for Sandman in this one, because he had other engagements. The bit where he turns back to human at the end in this is lifted straight from Spider-Man 3. Same with Rhys Ifans and his Lizard lines. Ned Leeds was right to worry that he would become a villain, because in the comics he does: the Hobgoblin. Willem Dafoe's psycho Goblin laugh is why we LOVE him in this role :D Also, at the end when Strange is trying to seal up the multiverse cracks, you can see two other Spider-Man villains that are likely coming with the next film: Kraven the Hunter, and Scorpion.

The reason why this movie was such a roller coaster for you is you’re starting to experience what is marvel fans experience for us we have spent decades reading the comic books watching the animated stories and now seeing all these characters on the big screen because they have the technology and money budget defined me do it. As you watch more and more the movies you understand the characters The history I’m passed behind them once this occurs you are far more invested than simply just watching a movie because of the amount of marvel content you have consumed you’re starting to have the same affinity for the characters as those of us who have been following them for decades. You really started to find girl geek out when they brought all the previous heroes and villains together when you see Spider-Man interact with Doctor Strange it’s like a crossing of two very large comic book titles and us fans gets so excited when stuff like this happens and now it’s starting to happen to you welcome to the universe Mary. And PS marvel comics are full of all sorts of epic tragedy it’s never a simple straight up win like a lot of movies push.

When it comes to movies and character portrayals, anything and everything an actor says can be considered speculation until confirmed true later on. That being said, in an interview Jacob Batalon, aka Ned, said he would be down to play a Spider-Man villain in the future. Peter Parker is the most tortured being in all of comics, it has gotten so bad in one comic The One Above All (God) had to talk to him to help him, The One Above All has only made two appearances in all of Marvel and that was one of them.

Don't worry about watching the Venom films. The first one is kinda entertaining but they don't have anything to do with the MCU apart from the bit you saw at the end of this film. Also when Tobey says "I fought an alien made of black goo" he's talking about his Venom from Spiderman 3, when Tom Holland says he fought an alien on Earth and in Space, he's talking about Thanos.

The status of more Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland is currently unknown because Holland doesn't have a new contract with Sony, and Jon Watts has stepped away from working on more Spider-Man stuff for now. Can't remember if he's going to do Star Wars or Fantastic Four. Holland has said that he doesn't see himself playing Spider-Man when he is 30, and Spidey/Peter stays a teenager or only gets to early 20s. I think he is around 25 now, so there's couple of years. On top of that, the Sony contract with Marvel is structured such that Sony can have Spider-Man, and all of his/Peter Parker's closely associated characters from the comics in their movies. Anything using MCU characters has to be co-production with Marvel Studios. And Marvel can use comics characters Sony uses in the MCU if they negotiate a separate deal. The extra complication is that Marvel has a much better handle on how to make a popular Spider-Man movie, so the three Tom Holland movies have done better than both the Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield franchises combined. And while the two Venom movies did well at the box office, Morbius tanked pretty badly, so Sony is not doing great while trying to build up related IP.

I love how they basically said all the fox, universal & sony marvel based movies & netflix/now disney+ shows are basically different universes! Garfield's MJ Catch/gwen stacy redemption moment was too damn good. But, in the comics, that version of ned becomes the hobgoblin and tries to kill peter a couple of times, so that's why what Ned said about never turning on him was maybe foreshadowing that...especially now that he doesn't know peter parker. Tom Holland's spidey trilogy was a way of him becoming the actual "friendly neighborhood" Spider-Man and might actually take on kingpin with The Defenders! "Netflix shows reference" & great reactions, btw.
